Location is very central for exploring Lowestoft

Low quality furnishings giving a cheap look. Also limited kitchen utensils/pans/crockery. These were increased after requesting more but with knives that fell apart when used. On one of the evenings the entry lock broke, locking us out. The emergency staff were helpful although it did take a while to be fixed. We wouldn't stay again.

Location is handy for the harbour area

Please do not stay here. The apartment was not only dirty but looked nothing like the advertised photos, which were likely taken years ago when it had just been redecorated. When I moved in, I found multiple damaged areas throughout the property. A previous review mentioned someone losing their £250 deposit because of alleged damages they claimed not to have caused; that reviewer strongly advised taking pictures and reporting any issues just in case. I’m glad I followed their advice, as I was convinced my own £250 deposit wouldn’t be returned. The bedside lamp was also unsafe, flashing rapidly on and off. I documented all the damage and the faulty lamp with photos and videos, then sent them to the apartment company. The booking stated there would be both a washer and dryer, but although there was a washing machine, there was no way to dry clothes—not even a clothes airer, let alone a tumble dryer. The welcome instructions say heating is set by management at 20 degrees, supposedly the ideal temperature, and cannot be adjusted by residents. Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue, except I was staying for work and needed to get up at 5am. I discovered the sitting room’s heating had dropped to 7 degrees and the bathroom’s heated towel rail didn’t work at all, making for a very cold apartment for my morning shower in the very dirty shower enclosure. If you are considering staying here, I urge you to look elsewhere. I booked to stay nine nights but left after just one.

Great value, secure building, nice marina views. TV worked well and had good signal strength

Beds slightly uncomfortable where the seam of the two single mattresses joined. Maybe an extra mattress topper would help? Few scuffs of paint on the walls

Location was favorable as it was close to the train station, the shops and restaurants and food shops. The property was well equipped and really worth the stay.

Not much. Perhaps maybe, the specific instructions on where to dispose the trash as I did not see any dump bins at the back that could belong to the property.
