Riad Zina Fes - Elegance in the Heart of Fes

The free breakfast was all good there is.

The hospitality was extremely terrible. The worst stay I’ve ever stayed at honestly. I experienced negligence from the host. Poor care for their clients. I had already mentioned in booking and through WhatsApp that I’m arriving at 5 am. It was approved by through booking and I personally spoke with the host through WhatsApp. Once I arrive in Fes at 5 am from the overnight bus, I sprained my ankle…I was unable to walk and I was in a stupid amount of pain. The taxi dropped me off in the middle of the street with my bags near the hotel. The host was never there at 5. Only 40 minutes later. I was a woman alone in the street, in the middle of the night!!! Once he finally shows up he has the audacity to say I interrupted his sleep. Complaining that I arrived too early when we all already communicated and agreed on the time my bus arrived. If you could only see his face of annoyance in person… Completely ignored and didn’t care of the fact that I sprained my ankle. I was crying from the pain. I was very hurt. And asked for help with my bags. It was disheartening to see a host be so unpleasant by my distress He takes me my bags and just keeps walking without looking back at me to see if could keep up. I literally couldn’t walk. And I loose him again for almost another hour while another kind man sees me hurt and decides to carry me around the Medina to find this hotel. The host never answer the light all that time. It was extremely careless and I felt neglected. It was not until I had 4 men surrounding me explaining to the host that I’m deeply hurt that he decided to even think to say sorry. It’s disgusting the level of care in that hotel. 3 hours later I finally get to hospital. I do not recommend staying with people like that. Beyond POOR hospitality!!!!

La terasse est magnifique et la dame qui m'a acceuilli un amour! Merci pour le thé à la menthe et son hospitalité! J'ai très bien dormi.

Attention, si vous êtes un voyageur seul je ne vous conseille pas ce logement. Il est situé en plein milieu de la medina (Google maps ne le trouve pas) et pour y acceder il faut passer par de petite rue cachée donc sombre et sale. De plus, on arrive sur une petite cours avec pleins d'enfants qui demandent des sous ou à manger des que l'on passe. Pas evident. De plus, à savoir: la medina de Fes ferme le soir donc il faut anticiper les repas pour ne pas rentrer la nuit

L’architecture est grandiose

- 1 seul petit déjeuner reçu sur 3 payés - cheveux et blattes au sol - ouverture de la porte d’entrée difficile - climatisation a fonctionné une soirée sur les 3 - j’ai demandé un service de couturière malheureusement le travail est à refaire. - quand d’autres clients arrivent en pleine nuit, tout le monde est réveillé - j’ai demandé de partager une nuit ma chambre ( pour une amie ) contre un supplément, qui lui a été refusé - le gestionnaire du lieu comprend mal le français ( écrit, oral) - quartier très moyen entre odeurs d’urine de chat et les effluves de la tannerie chouara Nez sensible s’abstenir !

Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schöne Dachterasse, auf der ich gerne abends gesessen habe. Das Frühstück war toll und man ging auch auf Wünsche ein.

Die Gasse in der der Eingang zum Hotel liegt, ist nicht besonders schön und ein bisschen unheimlich. Die Zimmertür ist sehr schön, aber die Konstruktion hat 5 cm Spiel zur Wand, so dass man den Riegel locker von außen öffnen könnte. Gibt einem zunächst kein sehr sicheres Gefühl. Die Mitarbeiter passen aber gut auf einen auf.

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Es ist zwar nicht ganz einfach zu finden, aber sobald man angekommen ist, fühlt es sich an, als würde man in eine andere Welt eintauchen. Die Atmosphäre, die Ruhe, die kunstvolle Inneneinrichtung und die wunderschöne Terrasse machen diesen Ort einzigartig. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Mohammed und die Dame aus der Küche. Selten habe ich so herzliche, hilfsbereite und großzügige Menschen getroffen. Beide haben sich mit so viel Freundlichkeit um mich gekümmert und meinen Aufenthalt wirklich unvergesslich gemacht. Es sind genau solche Menschen, die einen Ort besonders machen. Und die Terrasse? Für mich einer der schönsten in ganz Fès. Morgens dort zu frühstücken und über die Dächer der Medina zu schauen oder abends noch entspannt zu sitzen, war jedes Mal ein Highlight. Vielen Dank für Alles!

Recently I visited Fez for couple of weeks, my plan was to stay at Riad zina for two days but I ended up staying for 10 days. It was a very nice typical moroccan house, the stuff were very kind and lovely. I'm looking forward to my next visit, hopefully will be soon. Many thanks to Mehdi, Elhaj Ahmed, and the lovely chef. BTW, the food was amazing.

The Riad is cost-effective and the owner is nice and the neighbor is warm hearted.

Personale molto gentile. Stanza spaziosa e pulizia ottima. Bellissima la terrazza con vista sulla Medina.
