What I liked the most about the property was the beautiful view, the peaceful atmosphere. Marzoka and Mohamed were extremely kind and helpful during the whole stay. The riad was clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. It truly felt like home.

Un excellent emplacement ! Riad propre avec une belle terrasse avec vue sur la Médina. Accueil chaleureux.

Nous avons manqué d'eau chaude et l'odeur de cigarette a incommodé les enfants.

De gezellige Mohammed en Merzouga waren enorm gastvrij. De Riad was echt indrukwekkend mooi. Ook het dakterras was mooi, geweldig om daar in de zon een uitgebreid ontbijt te eten (gemaakt door de enorm vriendelijke hosts). Je hebt het idee alsof je bij een gastgezin intrekt die je warm verwelkomen.

De locatie. Hij zit midden in de medina, erg lastig om er te komen voor de eerste keer en in de avond zelfs wat grimmig. Er zijn genoeg mensen die je de weg willen wijzen maar dan wel voor geld, dat konden wij niet waarderen. Een filmpje met duidelijke uitleg over de routebeschrijving zou een mogelijkheid kunnen zijn

"Complete nonsense, best to steer clear if possible."

I began traveling about a week ago, exploring Warsaw, Bologna, and Firenze. Next, I’ll fly to Fez, then head to Porto. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything positive about either the riad or Fez itself. The general treatment of tourists in Fez makes it hard to find anything good to mention. Holidays are meant for relaxation, but Fez, including this riad, fails to deliver.

I think they had a great photographer, but the smell was really nasty, something between cat, sewage, and dump not pleasant at all. I walked around Fez an average of 8 km per day, and I can confidently say this riad is in the worst part of the Medina. The wire of a bedside lamp was completely exposed; it’s a miracle I wasn’t electrocuted (photos available). I was sure the price included breakfast, but on the first day I didn’t have any because apparently I needed to book it, even though I had mentioned on my arrival that I wanted breakfast. In the end, they charged me for two breakfasts, but I didn’t argue because I couldn’t wait to escape from Fez!

Beautiful building from the 1200s, recently refinished and in great shape. Mohammad was an excellent host.
