JOIVY Old Town Apartment with Parking Close to Royal Mile

even if its not in the centre of the city is pretty well located. the area is very quiet and clean. the rooms were very spacious and there was a bathroom per room.

some of the facilities were a bit lose and broken. One of the beds was broken and some of the shower heads could be replaced and installed better.

Everything excellent

The cleaning guy arrived at the exact departure time and I was cleaning so he wouldn't do much and he closed the door in my face when I was leaving in a bad way, he slammed the door

The apartment was in a great location and had great facilities, warm and clean, and on site parking in the centre of Edinburgh a real bonus.

The checking in and out process was off-putting. I had to collect parking permit from office (and when I git there they didn't have any) and keys from a key nest in the main train station. The key nest location was not accessible by car as in the central station concourse (and with a different name to the one given) and no parking nearby and couldn't park at apartment car park until keys were collected. Fine if weather is good in daylight but it was raining and dark (other apartments had key lock box on site). Checking out procedure the same in reverse but office agreed to also take keys when I dropped off parking permit as I didn't want to walk the extra distance in bad weather to take keys back to key nest in the station. And we had to take our own rubbish out - not a biggy but never had to do that before. But apart from a few small maintenance issues (light bulbs, curtain rail, sink plug, thermostat), apartment was lovely. And they were very quick at answering all my messages!

Was short walk to Royal Mile. Nice little welcome basket of treats. Apartment over all was nice.

Had problem with dishwasher not dispensing soap. We didn’t contact host about it.

Very spacious apartment with useful appliances. Great location, conveniently located near the train station and very close to good restaurants and touristy spots.

The heating wasn't working so it was a bit cold.

Spacious , clean and well- equipped , plenty of bathrooms , good service / communication as host were easily reachable and able to resolve some minor issues , close by to all main attractions ( within 20-30 mins walking distance) quiet surroundings .

Wasn't overly pleased about being told it would be £20 extra if i needed linen for the sofa bed in the sitting room- especially when you've booked the entire property. I didn't need, but customer should know the TOTAL price upfront. One of the beds was a bit lumpy, needs replacing or a good mattress topper. The fridge freezer has been poorly thought out. The built in cupboard for it is too small, therefore damaging the fridge door each time it's being opened. Plus you have to open both the top and bottom cupboard door to access the fridge freezer. Waverly station not the best sign post wise. If you get the stairs/lift beside platform two, even the unfittest of people can walk to the property.

the location was changed and it was difficult to get there. Very confusing

Accessible to everything, lovely property and very clean surroundings

We kinda struggle to find the property at first but we managed and all the walking is worth it.
