Pukka Hostel • El Nido

It is more a hotel than a hostel. There was no people at all. We booked Bunk Bed in Female Dormitory Room, but as wee were in 2 people, the place was for ourselves, once there was only 2 beds. The restaurant did not open most of the time, but the food was good. It was very clean, but the smell from the old AC is a bit annoying.

The location is a bit far from the center, but you can get a tuk tuk for 100 pesos tô go to the town or to the las cabanas beach. There is no many restaurants options nearby, so it is necessary to get a tuk tuk

The common area is super nice, the staff is friendly and the location is amazing.

The AC in the room didn’t work, it was super hot and there was no wifi or service in the room.

I arrived at the hostel past the check in time [23:30], however, there was still someone there to help me check in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The beds are comfortable and they even provided some basic toiletries. The hostel itself is very quiet and has a relaxing atmosphere.

The hostel location is about a 45-50 minute walk from the main attractions in El Nido, 10 minutes by tuk tuk.

Everything was fine! Especially the owner was so kind! Would come back here!

good location. access to tricycles. great restaurant beside it called Chica Chica which belongs to the hotel next door. Hot water was working well, wifi worked well (though router requires rebooting every now and again). Aircon unit working well (but very dirty).

Bedroom tiles were lifted in some parts, I tripped a few times. Uncomfortable mattress and pillow. Sheets have a weird smell. Room itself was not very clean, had to use wipes to clean further. Bathroom has a lot of mold in the ceiling. Aircon unit has mold and dust. Overall the room just felt icky and didn’t smell fresh.

There is no room cleaning during the stay. The ac is very noisy. There is nothing in the bathroom to put your things on despite the sink ( a small thingy would be nice ).

Loved this place! The staff were so nice and accommodating for all your needs. I booked several tours through them as well. The rooms are great!!! Big beds and only 2 people per room. The place looks like a hotel, not a hostel. The restaurant had some amazing dishes, and the view and vibe were fantastic! I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and comfortable sleep. It's away from the city area but close enough to the beach too.
