The location was the only thing that was ok

I have never been in such bad accommodation. It was unacceptable to stay there. We left the hostel after 1 night, even though we had booked for longer. The room was old, uncomfortable, dirty and simply awful. There were ants everywhere. I would have preferred to sleep outside on the beach. We had booked a private room with a bathroom. Unfortunately, it was not possible to shower because there was no water coming out of the shower. For 135€ / 2 nights this was outrageous. The breakfast was also a disaster.

If you want to avoid the crowds in El Nido Corong Corong beach is your place to go. The view from the balconies is amazing! You can enjoy amazing sunsets either from the balcony or you can simply go down to the beach that is close by. The room itself is basic but offers everything you need. The staff is very helpful and welcoming :)

Booked a dorm room for two nights, and then a private room. I will say the dorm was okay (best for backpackers— my room experience was detracted by the other girls who did not want Aircon on, but each bed has a private locker and an oversized bed, towel, and small amenity kit— so nice!), but the private room was excellent! Aircon works great in both room types when turned on— may be a bit noisy for some, but I thought it helped drown out typical noise of dogs/roosters/faint traffic. The WiFi around the resort worked fantastically (not best in reception, but not typical to spend much time there). I sadly had to check out prior to the end of my El Nido stay, due to lack of availability and kept coming back to chat with April (thank you so much, April!! I’ll never forget you and our amazing chats), ask for advice upon different island features, and get my laundry done. Everyone working here is so lovely! My originally booked accommodation dropped my reservation on the day of my arrival, and Pukka saved my stay!!!! Thank you so much!!

Not a problem, but be warned that there are stairs to climb. Super amazing staff members will help you carry your bags, though. The elevated view makes the morning view worth it!

Hotel did not provide soap or water and staff directed me to a store to buy. Daily room cleaning not offered. TV was broken. When I brought it to staff's attention, the said they knew it and smiled. So had no TV. Shower temperature would get too hot after 30 seconds and needed to be turned off onto cold so couldn't really shower. Wifi did not work. The frustration was staff didn't care and the hotel was way over priced and outdated at $75. a night. I've been traveling for 40 years all over the world, and this was my worst hotel experience.

Spend 3 nights at Pukka and loved my stay. The lady at the reception (Dori I think was her name) was super lovely/helpful and made me feel very welcome :) ! The hostel is a bit out of town but trycicles are always available and they cost always the same fixed price anywhere within ElNido (100pesos) so location is not a problem. It is a great place to stay if you want to have some chilled and relaxing time. not ideal for people who are into party hostels also, view is amazing !!

This hotel is really close to maremegmeg beach. You can go walking to corong corong beach. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. There were many restaurants close to the hotel (Chica Chica) We had breakfast included (pancakes, eggs, fruit and coffee)

You have to ask to clean the room. The decoration of the room is not the best.
