Hottub is huge, views from the garden beautiful

Only 1 Bathroom, door did not shut properly, sink did not empty, not enough toilet roll. Front steps and drive iced over and dangerous, I fell getting items into car. Needs gritting. Steps in garden to hottub same. BBQ covered in mold so washed it prior to use but then too wet to light coals so waste of money on coals. Steps going up to bedrooms damaged and unsafe. Could not locate thermostat so hot downstairs all night despite messaging host for location. Kitchen needs more serving bowls and decent knives. No recycle bins.

The hot tub was only decent thing

House is filthy, mould and damp, bowing ceiling. Sheer curtains in bedroom. The house actually shakes with the cars/lorry’s going past. Host is extremely unprofessional and didn’t respond even when booking.com contacted them. This is not luxury it’s grimey.

The hot tub

The property is outdated, it’s as though it’s had a lick of white paint to freshen it up, mold and damp water pouring in through the roof in the bedroom. So everyone had to sleep in the one bedroom cramped up. The owner was sending messages about noise to other residents which appeared to be threatening and could have been worded differently. Right on a busy main road. The play park is dangerous for little ones as it’s all rotten. Only receiving details of property with 3 hours on arrival. Smoke alarm was going off all night and the cleaners knew about it when I addressed it with them the following morning. Tried to contact the owner but very rude and ignored. There are better places to stay within the area with hot tubs. Very expensive for a run down cottage. Do yourself a favour and look else where.

Very spacious and well laid out , great location just far enough out to feel like you have privacy and peace but also only minutes drive from everything U need or want . The hot tub was perfect for winding down after a long day out at Alton towers
