KEP BAY HOTEL & RESORT

Spacious room and a lovely big swimming pool. The hotel was very clean. Food and drink was reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. a good view from the sea facing rooms.

The swimming pool could have been cleaner and needed a bit of maintenance to fix missing/loose tiles. The location was ok but it was a 30 minute walk from the crab market.

Temprimental plastic pool loungers

The swimming pool was very nice and the rooftop view was beautiful.

They made me stay longer after we checked out to inspect the rooms. I felt like they assumed that we were going to break something but we didn’t do break anything. I never had another hotel do that before. In the US and in Cambodia. Plus they already had my credit card on file. They could easily charge us for damages so why keep us there for an inspection?

Had a good view.

There was blood on our bed sheets. The sheets were rough. The foyer was dirty, no lights were on and there was linen everywhere. The staff seemed unsure of themselves. Our complaint was not acknowledged. The pool was filthy and there was green algae everywhere, water was cloudy. Fridge was not working and smelt bad. We stayed 1 out of 2 nights and found another hotel.

- Lack of communication from the hotel. I messaged them over Booking.com and email regarding pickup from Kep Train Station and got no reply - Stray cats seem to go in and out of the hotel poolside - Location a bit far from Kep market
