Mourne Air & BBQ Shack

Absolute bargain. We were very surprised with the quality of this location. It was clean, warm, very close to bars & restaurants and very good value for money. The wee BBQ out the back garden was a lovely little extra even if we didn't use it. Thanks folks, would highly recommend and definitely stay again if traveling in the area. 🙏🏻👍🏻

The property was very clean, spacious and in a great location. The parking was perfect too, right outside the property. The owner was quick to respond to queries, we would definitely recommend this property.

A lovely house with lots of potential. Spacious. Parking right at the front door. Supplies left for washing dishes/ using the dishwasher.

The house was dusty, it had nice modern wire light shades in some rooms however they were covered in dust. The dinning chairs need some attention as the legs are very loose, I cant image it would take much effort for the owner to give those a tighten every now and again so as someone doesn't get injured. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable. The washing machine door is cracked, wasnt a problem for us as we didnt need to use it on our 2 night stay however if I had of needed it I wouldn't have risked it. Its a bad look and something that was mentioned in a previous review maybe a year ago. The gardens need some attention as they are covered in weeds. We didnt use the garden as the weather was so bad however if we had booked in the summer with the plan of using the bbq shack id have been really disappointed. There was no black bin to be seen anywhere to dispose of waste & the blue bin was full to the brim. The biggest issue we had however was with the heating. When we arrived at the property it was really cold. There was a nest thermostat downstairs and one in the main bedroom. The one downstairs was working and we could just the heat, the one in the bedroom was not and so i contacted the owner on the Wednesday evening as the bedrooms were freezing. The own messaged back straight away asking me to check if the radiators were on at the valves and I responded to him that they were however they were all cold. The owner replied saying someone would be straight round to look at it. After 45 mins I let the own know I had to go out and get the kids theyre dinner so I would leave the key back in the lockbox for someone to let themselves in and look at the heating. When we arrived back at the property the nest thermostat from the bedroom was gone and I had a message from the owner saying it needed replaced & someone would be round 1st thing in the morning with a new one. They never came & we had no heating upstairs.

Perfect location. Clean and comfortable. Nice and relaxing

We were happy with everything. Would have loved to make use of the outdoor space but a visit in milder weather would sort that out.
