Brooke View Barns No 1

Spotless, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful rural setting. Everything was well equipped and thoughtfully presented. Heidi went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and was incredibly helpful throughout.

Nothing about the accommodation itself. As it’s in a rural location, it’s sensible to book taxis in advance where possible, but local taxi companies know the apartments well and regularly collect guests from there.

Clean, new, comfortable, easy parking. On site wildlife.

A table for 4 to sit at would have been preferable to bar table for 2. Hot water was a bit limited with 4 of us (3 girls) - but then they run our hot water out too.

Loved the peace n quiet, just watching the ducks and geese just walking about, the facilities were excellent and Heidi was lovely and really lovely to talk too. We were lucky we had amazing weather.

Due to its remoteness had a down side that it was hard to find for other people, we were at a wedding and a bit tough for taxis, however this is nit picking really.

Oh what a delight it was to stay here, light and airy as well as warm and snuggly. We loved being close to nature , watching the wildlife and the owners animals. An absolute joy to stay here and we will definitely be back. Lovely welcome basket. Everything spotless, comfy beds, could not have been better.

Not a thing to dislike about it.

The hosts were lovely, very kind and thoughtful. The facilities were excellent. Well fitted out with all the appropriate equipment for our stay. The environment was lovely, the view from the premises was across fields full of wildlife. The premises was immaculate. Beds, sofas were comfortable, TV easy to use. All instructions were carefully put together. The hosts had thought of everything and more. Easily accessible for people with most mobility issues, ramp to the premises, lower shower threshold, wide doors, lower beds, wide spaces for wheel chair turning.

Amazing stay in barn 1. The beds and sofas were so comfortable and it was so quiet. The place was exceptionally clean and smelled lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and was a bonus to see the horse in the mornings! Our hire car fell through but that didn't matter in the end as there was a bus stop with buses into Norwich about a 30 minute walk away and ubers back from the city costing around £20. Had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay again. Thank you for the welcome hamper as well which was a nice touch.

Nice, clean, tidy.

My car was damaged driving into the property because of a lack of duty and care to the people who stay at the No.1 Barn. It will cost approximately £300 to have my car repaired because the information provided did not highlight hazards at the property, the instructions were not clear and the hazards were not made visible or the driveway well lit to allow you to see hazards. The owners were non-responsive as well. The owners do not have third-party cover on the public liability insurance so be careful when you stay there.
