The Lazy Goose - Coffee House & Bedrooms

I was away visiting Gloucester and filming for my YouTube channel. I found and booked The Lazy Goose super last minute and quite late in the evening, everything from start to finish was amazing and ran super smoothly 😀 The room was cute, comfy and quiet. The staff in the coffee house were SO lovely and so incredibly helpful - Shout out to Kevin! The breakfast options were amazing; the toasties and the pastries were heavenly and the coffee was 10/10. Really really lovely establishment and I can't wait to come visit again!

Breakfast was perfect, I wish I had time before my meeting to have another slice of cake, the cakes were the best of the best. Everything was perfect, staff were all outstanding, perfect place to stay in the area compared to normal hotels, internet was great too, so everything was perfect.

Not that I didn't like, bathrooms can do with an upgrade as business grows.

Location was great. Parking was nice and easy. It's a shame that this place isn't open for dinner - I think it has great potential for light bites and wine bar offerings. Breakfast was nice - not my usual choice but sufficient. I had a toastie and got to try the tracklements sweet mustard ketchup - which is now a staple in my kitchen! The room was well appointed and clean (don't forget the doors need cleaning too!).

Was a very hot say and so I had all the windows open - had to try and use paper wedges to try and stop the sash windows from banging in the wind and the door to the room. There was a lot of noise late at night with somebody coming into the top apartment opposite me.

Nice village with excellent pub serving good food. 10% discount if you’re a guest at the lazy goose. I’m allergic to dogs so good to find a hotel that doesn’t allow pets.

The staff in the coffee house were very helpful and friendly . Lovely comfortable place to stay . Very reasonable price . Lovely farm shop just up the road .

As always, a lovely comfortable room with the best bed. The location is perfect and the staff were lovely and helpful with resolving any issues.

The TV sound would cut in and out on occasion but nothing that a change of cable wouldn't fix.
