Cosy studio near NEC, BHX & Resort World

The location of the property was nice, clean and not too noisy apart from the planes, but that's expected considering the airport is not far from there. Property had a kitchen which was perfect, so we could warm up and make simple foods which we brought from home. The place was tidy and ok to find.

Unfortunately the communication with the host was a little slow in form of very simple and automated replies. I would of preferred to meet the host in person, that way the communication and welcome to the property would be a little more pleasant and less stressful. The apartment was a little dated, specifically the bathroom had a cracked tile on the floor hidden under bathroom mat and falling off handle of shower door. The bed mattress was really soft , so we always ended up in the middle, but still managed to get fairly good sleep , so I suppose softness of the bed mattress is preference. Also in this cold weather I would prefer to walk in into warmed up apartment, but this was fixed after a few hours when we put heater on, so it wasn't so much of an issue. Other than that stay in the property was reasonably pleasant.

Nothing the host did not reply when we needed them to and also expected a £100 deposit and did not refund this

This was my wordt experience with booking .com could not get into the property ,the contact number was invalid, had to find somewhere else to stay . Also it is not 9mins from NEC it is a 20 minute DRIVE

- the tv didnt work at all, the wifi wouldnt connect

It was in good location and clean

The doors were hard to lock and the outside was a bit untidy, couldn’t get tv to work unless I signed into Netflix

Wi-fi went dead after a few days, many messages sent via Booking.com, SMS, text, voicemail, were sent. On the 3rd day without Wi-fi I was sent a number to phone for maintenance. I rang and left a message, no-one rang back. Phoned again the next day and was promised someone would ring me back with an update. No-one rang back. I phoned again and was told nothing could be done as it was a Sunday. Because the Wi-fi was out the TV didn't work. When it did work I could not stream Netflix as advertised as no password was left. Stayed 11 nights no fresh towels. No hot water to sink in kitchen. No tea towels. Minimal cutlery, 1 fork. No bottle opener.

Zero communication effort by the Owners Didnt even message me back I asked whether there was breakfast available, no reply, i asked whether there was parking , no reply. Really dissappointing and ignorant Place was decent for the price
