BEZeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Wandelpaden en eet/drink gelegenheid op loopafstand. Winkels etc( ivm voedsel o.a.) op 15 min met de auto. Veel omgeving om te verkennen binnen een korte rijafstand. De cottage zelf is niet zo groot maar wel knus en geriefelijk ingericht.
Een ligbad is niet voor iedereen toegankelijk. Bij rugklachten bvb. De eigenaars zouden wel plannen hebben ivm de badkamer, zo ik las in hun infomap.

OMLovely little cabin, excellent location, very clean and tidy and well stocked with some fresh eggs. Communication was good and timely. Garden was fantastic, especially as the weather was lovely - a sheltered area in the garden would be my one suggestion.
A shower would definitely be handy rather than just the bath. The handbook says that is planned for the future and it will definitely provide a finishing touch. Might be a little tight for a longer stay if the weather isn't great.

GBCute little cabin on a large patch of land. Ideal for our 4 year old son to play on the tyre swing and potter about the grounds and throw stones in the stream. The cabin itself is simple and sweet, lovely log burner and plenty of card games and a few books. It was exactly right for the price paid, nothing flashy but humble and simple.
The windows are single glazed so just have to make sure you have the heater or stove on and you're fine! Little bit of road noise but it is a 20mph road so not loud and didn't bother us at all..just if you are a very light sleeper then you might want to bring your ear plugs.

Cold toilet/bathroom and no shower ... not a place to linger. A bit draughty around front door and windows ... Curtains would cure this. Needs a dishrack for draining cutlery and plates.
