MI CA-SA EN MÉRIDA

Very kind host, i have read about how kind Nelson is in other reviews, but he is even kinder in person, and he was the big reason why we enjoyed our stay so much because of all the recommendations he gave us :) Location is good, and apartment was very very clean.

Location was perfect right in downtown Merida but quiet. Surrounded by good restaurants. And I knew that people like the host, Nelson, but now I really know why. He is just a lovely person and the best host I’ve ever run across. He even took me to the local clinic/hospital when I had a fall and injured my leg. We had the two bedroom apartment and it was perfectly comfortable. I plan to go back when I’m in Merida again.

Ein sehr angenehmer Kontakt von vor bis nach dem Aufenthalt. Nelson hat sehr viele tolle Informationen zu Mérida und der Umgebung. Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral und alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Wäre gerne länger geblieben. Vielen lieben Dank noch einmal für alles!

I so enjoyed my stay at Mi Ca-Sa En Merida. The apartment was simply furnished and clean, a priority for me. I was there three weeks and it was completely cleaned once a week. There was always hot water, the bed was comfortable and there were nice sheets.The location is excellent, and the language school La Casita is right around the corner. Nelson was an exceptional host. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and safe as Nelson was at the lodging regularly. He went above and beyond in making sure everything was okay, helping with transportation logistics, had a list of sites to see and recommended restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

If you’re looking for a high end apartment, this would not be for you. It’s more for people who want to stay in a great neighborhood and in a nicely renovated apartment.

So clean, spacious and a perfect location for sightseeing and restaurants. Nelson is a fantastic host.

Nelson was a superb host-very helpful. Merida is a delightful city to visit and everything about the accommodations was great: location, comfort and cleanliness. It gave the experience of living like a Mexican not a hotel experience. Really good value.

The plumbing system in Merida needs an overhaul . I could not truthfully say that I had access to warm water for washing.
