The room was very clean!

But the bathroom was a bit dirty…

Beautiful spacious and comfortable room. We shared the space with only one other room so felt very private. Great facilities and having breakfast in the Cafe downstairs was a nice relaxing way to start the day. The hawaiian vibe was super cute and added a unique touch. The staff were amazing, friendly and we were able to communicate in English which was helpful. You can tell they care about their clientele. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place to other travellers.

Had to wait till 9am for breakfast which was quite late for us, particularly being tourists and only having 1 day in Kyoto but it was also a relaxing way to start the morning.

Location is alright, the stuff was very friendly.

It’s very noisy, I didn’t get a very good sleep at all. It’s only two rooms per property but they are opposite to each other and the house has very thing walls, you hear everything, not only from the neighboring room but also from the street. First there was dog barking in the morning around 5 a.m., then from 7 a.m. there was loud music with base, presumably from some joint nearby. We were in pineapple room Also, it was the our only stay in Japan where not only toothbrushes but also towels weren’t provided at all. Instead you are supposed to rent them for 150 yen.
