"Great place to stay for families"

Spacious, clean, and centrally located. Our party of 5 was very comfortable.

We came during an uptick in the summer temperatures and not all of the bedrooms had working fans. Just a small issue that we didn’t bother to complain about at the time.

Great location. Very comfortable beds. We had a small problem with the heating but Jools contacted me and sorted it all out promptly. Would use it again if we were in York.

It could do with some brighter lighting in the dining room.

Absolutely lovely property, in a great location.

Can't really say there wasn't anything we didn't like. Only one very little thing, probably another in one of the rooms on the ground floor, but that's just a minor thing. The house was perfect.

Unreal location and a beautiful historic house. Central for everything but on a quieter street. Great dining table and so much room with a snug, office and huge TV lounge. Fantastic bedrooms. Would have been useful to have an extra key, as there were 8 of us!
