ORCHID LODGE SAMUI - Bed & Breakfast

Where do i start with this question. On arrival Kristin was at the gate a beautiful smile from ear to ear and from that moment you know you have chosen a lovely place to stay. Kristin and i sat at the table where i was presented with a beautiful fruit juice mocktail and fresh fruit (YUMMY!!). What a perfect start to a wonderful stay. Shown to my room which was decorated beautifully and the feel was just a warm relax feeling, it was an amazing for me personally. The bed, pillows, linen was like laying on a cloud. Felt so content. The staff, well say staff i know Kristin calls them family and that was the way it felt. There is nothing they would not do to make your stay perfect. The breakfasts perfect. The surroundings perfect. The host and the family perfect. Also you have the cats Mama, Daisy & Pepper they are the sweetest. They do not worry you for anything apart from the occasional pet but they will not jump up for food or be angry. They are just the family cats going about their own business and seem in a weird way respect the guests in the same way. Again all reviews are from a personal perspective but i would highly suggest when you are going through looking at places to see Orchid Lodge put it in favourites and hopefully you come back and book. Trust me you not regret your stay. I cannot thank Kristin and the family enough .. xx

El lloc es molt bonic i acollidor La Kristin es una molt bona amfitriona, i et fa sentir com a casa. Et soluciona qualsevol problema que puguis tenir i et dona molt bons consells. Molt recomanable!

Kristin hat uns am Anreisetag persönlich empfangen und über die Insel und ihr B&B erzählt. Der Bungalow war hübsch dekoriert, ein Korb mit lokalen Spezialitäten stand bereit. Sie hat uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.

Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad waarbij Orchid lodge als een paradijsje op Koh Samui is ervaren. Kristin en haar team zijn oprecht betrokken bij hun gasten en ontzorgen waar mogelijk. De warmte die zij voor hun gasten uitstralen is uitzonderlijk. De locatie is schitterend, huisjes heel verzorgd met veel privacy, ontbijt is fantastisch, zwembad heerlijk. Alles met een persoonlijke touch. Kristin zal je op de unieke rustige plekken wijzen, alsmede goede restaurants. Ook de massage op locatie is zeer aan te raden. Dank voor de heerlijke week!!

Die schönste Unterkunft unserer gesamten Thailand Reise. Das Lodge ist wunderbar gepflegt und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Pool ist ein Traum. Kristin und ihr Team haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Liebe Grüße nach Koh Samui ins Orchid Lodge!

I had a wonderful stay with Kristin and her team at the Orchid Lodge. Every little detail was very carefully considered by Kristin to make my stay the best it could possibly be. The room was perfect - the pool and breakfast area was a wonderful sanctuary and the grounds were beautifully kept by Myo (his motto was 'keep it clean and green' and it shows!). Breakfast each morning consisted of fresh fruit, eggs of your choice, yoghurt, cereal and then another treat which could be banana bread or pancakes - so much! Fair and Mem quietly work away in the background making sure everything is beautifully presented. The property is a little remote which was precisely what I wanted and I often got a ride down to Lamai with Kristin and then walked back (about 6kms and not an easy walk but totally fine for me). You can easily hire a scooter or motor bike through Kristin if you wanted your own transport.

There was nothing I didn't like - Kristin went out of her way to make my stay perfect.

We had a wonderful time at the Orchid Lodge. Kristin and her team are incredibly warm and welcoming. The lodge is designed with great attention to detail and is a small, beautiful oasis in Samui. Kristin is a fantastic host and always ready to help. The house cats – Mama, Daisy, and Pepper – are especially adorable.
