ORCHID LODGE SAMUI - Bed & Breakfast

The location is quite inconvenient.

The lodge is nestled away in the hillside not too far from the craziness of Lamai beach. The property itself is very picturesque, completely surrounded by well-maintained flora. The owner, Kristin, is more than just an owner. She is a consummate hostess, being very present, chatty and amiable. She was happy to give several recommendations for just about anything we asked for giving a range of options depending on budget and basing these recommendations off of her own experiences or those of previous guests. We found the recommendations to be good. Given where the property is situated (which is exactly as described in the listing), I recommend hiring a motorbike/scooter if you wish to explore the island. We booked a bike through Kristin and it was a seamless process with the admin taken care of. I also used two of Kristin’s recommendations for a massage. The masseuse who came to the property was much more expensive but worth every penny/baht. The breakfast is tremendous. You won’t need to eat for a long time after breakfast. The rest of the team on-site were also a pleasure to meet. The housekeepers were friendly and always smiling and the Guest Relations Managers (Mama and Daisy) were a pleasure to be around!

It was one of the most beautiful places that we’ve stayed during our travels. It felt like our own private villa with the comforts of being part of a friendly resort. Kristin was the most amazing host.

Everything was perfect!

This Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Kristin, the owner, is extremly kind, always helpful and makes this lodge a small paradise. You can relax in recently renovated garden rooms with lovely Interieur or in the nice swimming Pool. Breakfast is fantastic!

Kristin was incredible! She was extremely helpful, personable and nothing was too much to ask. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. The breakfast was the best we’ve had so far on our trip. All of the staff at the lodge work extremely hard and we would love to come back.

The host Kristin is the star of the lodge and the way she made us comfortable and brought us through Samui verbally was exceptional. The vibe and peace the lodge offers is non pariel. Loved every bit of it.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a calm meditating atmosphere. Breakfasts were tasty, colourful and filled with attention from the lodge's team. The owner Kristin is a very caring person, she was taking care of me from the moment I booked the accomodation till the minute my holiday ended. Very quiet place surrounded with beautiful nature.

Probably the most calm and relaxing place on Samui. Great host that made our trip so much easier and convenient.
