ORCHID LODGE SAMUI - Bed & Breakfast

I think „heaven on earth“ is perfect for describing Kristin’s Place. We were staying for 6 nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The Breakfast was perfect and always more than enough. They even asked for allergies before your arrival. Kristin herself is just an Angel on earth. She organised motorbikes for us that were in perfect condition.( if you’ve ever been to Thailand you know that they can be in questionable conditions) Her restaurant recommendations were great. The place itself is gorgeous, there are seperate bungalows and you have enough privacy. The location was perfect for us, we loved that it was super quiet but the buzzing nightlife/ night markets were just couple minutes away with the bike. We would always come back ! This is an exceptional place to relax, unwind and find yourself. A place of rare beauty surrounded by lush gardens on the hills of Koh Samui. The location is dedicated to people who enjoy peace and tranquility and want to escape the crowded places. We came there to have the chance to relax our busy minds from a very busy life&city. Kristin is the perfect host. She is a very warm and kind person with a lot of very good insights of the island. We have rented a very good car from a very good company (James car rental) through Kristin. She helped us out with a profesional transport to and from the ferry. The breakfast was incredible: fresh Thai fruits, fresh juice, banana pancakes or home made toast plus eggs your style. The pool is perfect of you just want a day off to relax and enjoy the garden. The 2 cats Mama and Daisy are adorable! They made our days. Thank you Kristin & wonderful team for a wonderful week in Thailand. It was the best of the 3 weeks spent on this land.

We had the most wonderful stay at Orchid Lodge. The accommodations are spacious, modern, beautiful and functional. The pool is just amazing - we ended up spending a whole day there (and we're not usually pool loungers). Breakfast is off the charts - healthy and delicious. We loved the food, but also the semi-communal setting at the big breakfast table. We had great conversations with other guests. Last but not least, Kristin is a fantastic host. She was always there when we needed advice or just for a quick chat. The property is a little out of the way from the beach and the main tourist sites around the island, but for us, this was a big plus as we like it quiet at night. And quiet it was!

All about this place was relaxing, comfortable and clean. The owner was so kind and paid great attention to make my stay memorable. From great conversation to amazing service! Each lodge is personal and well thought of. The location was perfect for a quite time in Koh Samui. Would 100 % recommend it.

It’s definitely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. If possible, I would give a 12/10! Kristin is the nicest host and made sure that we felt all welcome and comfortable at her lodge. She even helped us find a rental car prior to our arrival. Also, she made really good suggestions on where to go based on our plans and interests and helped us to make the most of our stay. Everything was super clean and well maintained. I think the rooms are also freshly renovated. You can see that Kristin and her team really care for the place! The breakfast and welcome drink were super delicious and when we left early on our last day, she prepared a really nice lunch box for us. I would definitely book here again every time!!

I stayed in September with my daughter and her partner, Kristin was extremely welcoming and we had an incredible time staying at orchid lodge. It felt like a sanctuary, the gardens and the pool were amazing and we loved the fresh breakfast prepared every morning! Our host was easily contactable via WhatsApp and she went above and beyond to share recommendations of where to visit, restaurants and hidden gems. I can’t recommend this place enough and would love to visit again in future.

Our time at the Orchid Lodge Samui was absolutely magnificent. This charming property is impeccably clean and newly updated, and we felt very relaxed and comfortable in our beautiful and modern bungalow. We loved leisurely starting each morning with the delicious and fresh homemade breakfast while overlooking the spectacular pool. When we were not out exploring the island, the peacefulness, serenity, and privacy of the Orchid Lodge provided the ideal place for us to rest, read, and relax. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our kind and lovely host, Kristin, and you can tell that she and her team really care about their guests. They worked extremely hard to make every aspect of our stay enjoyable, and Kristin even helped us to plan our sightseeing activities and to arrange our transportation. We really appreciate the personal touch and genuine hospitality we received and can absolutely recommend the Orchid Lodge Samui to anyone looking for a relaxing and tranquil getaway with top notch service.
