ORCHID LODGE SAMUI - Bed & Breakfast

We spent a wonderful week in one of these lodges. The residence is located a little on the heights of LAMAI which allows to have a light pleasant breeze when it is hot. The rooms are spacious with very good bedding and the breakfast is excellent and plentiful. It is an ideal place if you want calm and rest while enjoying the swimming pool. It only takes a few minutes to get to the center of LAMAI by scooter and go enjoy the sea. A big thank you to Kristin and her team for their warm welcome. She is very available, good advice and unfailing kindness. I hope to be able to come back next year.

You need to experience the Orchid Lodge Samui! It's like being at home but away! The breakfast, the rooms, the tranquility, the attention to details. This is not like your typical anonymous hotel, this is an experience, a breath of fresh air and relaxation. Up in the hills, still close to everything. Rent a motorbike and you have the best of two worlds. The owner, Kristin with her staff will put you in the center and make sure your stay will be magnificent.

Amazing Lodge located in very quiet, beautiful nature area far away from noisy roads with outstanding views from the hills, but still with possibility to approach the ocean shore fast enough. House is very comfortable, cozy with extraordinary comfort bed and extremely clean, that was very important for me as well. Shower is great with good water pressure and probably all facilities in accommodation are excellent. Very good and healthy breakfast. Wonderful swimming pool. Ms. Kristin is owner of those property very helpful, intelligent and kind American woman. She is ready to assist in any issue due to quest stay. I was completely exited to stay at Orchid Lodge and strictly recommend this accommodation to travelers in Ko Samuy area. With best and warm regards.

The location was perfect for me - near the buzz of activity but not IN the buzz of activity. I also needed to learn how to ride a scooter so I could get around, and the lodge has a great road to do that safely. But more importantly, the grounds themselves are gorgeous - clearly a ton of care has been taken to give that lush, tropical island feel to the space. The breakfast is incredible - and I stayed in a lot of places while I traveled, this was maybe the best. I was able to meet fellow travelers but also have my own space, it was kind of the best of both words. And Kristin and her staff are wonderful - so friendly, helpful and responsive to whatever you need.

I can't think of much. More days that I got to spend there?

We had a very comfortable stay at the Orhid Lodge Samui and enjoyed every bit of it. We loved the beautiful view at the pool, the delicious vegetarian breakfast, the kindness of the owner and her staff and the sound of the jungle especially at night. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and very beautifully painted. We got restaurant and beach recommendations from Kristin and she also organised a scooter rental for us. We had some good conversations with her and felt at all times like home. Thank you so much for having us :) We would love to come here again and would definitely recommend a stay here. The baby cats were also very sweet.

What a gem! The rooms are absolutely fantastic, everything is brand new, the beds and the lighting so comfortable! We loved our cottage! The staff are amazing, very friendly, they will take care of everything. You can rent the scooter for you, and the company will bring it to the lodge. Such a quiet and peaceful place - just as we love. Even the internet is great, I had a few conference calls from my room. We already recommended this place to our friends. All the best, and hope to come back! PS. We liked the Silver beach and Crystal bay beach club. Also The Tent restaurant was nice. Koh Samui is breathtaking!

It is a bit far away from the beach, but no problem at all if you have a scooter or a car.

Clean, spacious room in a peaceful private residence. Excellent breakfast. Kristin and her team were really nice and helpful.

Need to rent a scooter or to take a taxi to get to the beach or restaurants.

first of all we had a really warm welcoming by Kristin with a welcome drink. Kristin and her staff are doing an amazing job. they make sure that nothing is missing and you feel like home, and we did. the property is really nice. it’s calm and clean. the rooms are beautiful and freshly renovated. also the breakfast is super. all in all we had a great time and would love to come back on day. 100% recommendation!!

The complex is very nice and clean. Exactly like the photos. The breakfast was nice.

On arrival we were subjected to 20mins of rules by the host the most disappointing rule being you couldn't swim in the pool until after 10.30am as other guests are having breakfast during this time. When you are on holiday it is little things like getting up and having a swim that make each day special.
