Friendly staff and good location with beautiful mountain View’s.

The bathroom needs an upgrade.

It’s like stepping back in time and has been thoughtfully furnished to reflect the period. All rooms are very comfortable. I particularly loved the breakfast.

The noise which initially I thought was coming from the building site next door but it was coming from the property. I changed hotels after 2 nights and was not refunded for the nights I didn’t stay,

The hospitality and friendliness of all the staff was outstanding. They were very helpful and willing to accommodate all our requests. The location was also noteworthy, walking distance to the main shopping street.

The restaurant was a little disappointing. Many items on the menu were not available. The New Years Buffet was very poor and tasteless. The property , an English style heritage building, could do with some maintenance so that generations to come can continue to enjoy its atmosphere.

The hotel is lovely, overseeing the hills and the staff is great and very hospitable.
