Scar View - Getaway for Two - Ridgestone

Location is sensational. Peace and quiet and less than 5 minutes to walk to The Black Labrador, which we did every evening!! We loved every one of our four nights here ... a wonderful trip ... ❤️

It was clean and comfortable, ok for a short stay.

The property is attached to a larger property, not quite in the location we wanted. Didn't feel it was good value for money compared to others avaliable. No welcome pack/guide to local area. Minimal kitchen equipment.

Really well equipped cottage, very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was perfect. Really easy check in and leaving process and the whole place was lovely, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

There are two properties at Scar View - the one with the name on the property is not the rental and we did spend a bit of time trying to open the key box on the non rental property! Sorry - perhaps a bit of clarification in the instructions. We were also unable to lock the door from inside the property as the lock turn is broken and just spins around - it wasn't a problem but something I guess cleaners etc would miss.

Really lovely place, exactly what we needed. Only a short drive away from windamere and Kendal when we wanted to be out and doing something. Really can’t fault the place, thank you 😊

Standard of cleanliness was exceptional. Lovely private secluded location - perfect as a retreat. Very modern and rasteful decor.

These are all very minor issues, but....Would have been good to have more tumbler glasses (only one provided). A longer stay would have meant clothes hanging space would be helpful. Also a coffee machine wouldn't look out of place.
