Scar View - Getaway for Two - Ridgestone

Location was great. Very comfortable. Nice to have a separate bath and shower. Comfy bed.

Bedroom smelt of dog and couldn't open any windows in the room more than a tiny crack to help alleviate snell.. Needs more hanging space, hooks on the back of the door are insufficient. In strong winds the Lod of the hot tub a) blew off and took the lighting with it and b) was blown down onto the buttons which kept restarting the keys even when I'd switched them off, so had to switch off at wall. Would have been nice to see more TV channels than just BBC1,2,3 and 4 (without having to sign into other TV apps).

The property was very cosy and very well kept. The property was spacious and had all appliances and little touches included. The hot tub was lovely.

The WiFi isn’t great, however wasn’t horrendous.

Great layout of accommodation and functional. Little features (lights) added to the experience. Awesome hottub easy to use and clean. Privacy and help available if needed. Firepit was ideal. Perfect destination for break or honeymoon. Would stay again

There were a few wasps nearby but to be expected as they're in season.

Really lovely location and views. Hot tub was a nice bonus, property was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short break.

The Wi-Fi was slow didn't work at all in some areas this was frustrating as the reception was also bad. The agents were not responsive when in need of assistance.

Lovely beds and interior, hot tub and easy to find. Local to Windermere and Kendal. Spacious place, shower and bath

No hairdryer even though stated they had one! Had to sleep with wet hair Glasses were dirty and blankets hadn’t been washed No nice view and the bedroom windows were all frosted which made you feel penned in Barking dog

Cosy bedding, comfy furniture and quick access to the hot tub and car. Overall cleanliness of the property.

There was no personal touches to the property-such as recommendations for the local area or propery tips (hot water takes a while, how to use the shower)The privacy fence blocking the hottub from view needs improving as did not feel private nor did the garden. Also the fabric covering above the Hotub needs waterproofing as it somewhat takes away the enjoyment of the hot tub when cold rain water is dripping through onto your heads. Homeowners conversations and coughing could be heard whilst we were in the property which made us conscious if we could be heard. No doormat/shoe storage for muddy walking boots and they were not going to be left out in the rain. Also hardly any clothes hooks provided once again for wet coats/clothes.
