WiFi was very poor unable to watch anything. Host was none responsive to messages directions to property were a joke

Location was perfect for exploring the Lakes. The property has a separate driveway which is helpful. The property itself was great, it had all of the kitchen essentials you could need, smart TV and a comfy bed. The hot tub is a great touch and was ready to use from arrival. The hosts have taken on board previous comments, the garden is fully fenced/hedged off so feels nice and private.

As others have mentioned the Wifi isn't great and doesn't reach the bedroom, assuming the wifi is coming from the house next door so this could be a simple fix with a booster.

Breakfast not included but I did make a fantastic breakfast myself 😀 location very very quiet and remote in a lovely little village

Got the code in good time for arrival and easy to locate

For the premium price paid I don’t consider we got value for money. Simple touches were missing that I would have expected for the price. There was no hand soap in the property, simple things like sugar and tea bags were not provided when coffee was, the wifi consistently dropped out, tvs were provided but only had a few channels and the bedroom one didnt have any channels, not worth being there. It is a property aimed at couples and did not provide 2 drinking glasses, just one. Paint was flaking off the ceiling in the bedroom and generally needed a bit of tlc. We presume the property owners had the adjoining house and we were woken up by barking dogs outside the bedroom window. The property was clean and tidy but did not have the facilities to warrant the price charged.

Property was set in a perfect location. Had some lovely touches with a basket of blankets and some miniature soaps etc. Was even impressed with the little bag of hair bobbles and cotton buds! Hot tub was amazing, room was very cosy and the bed was unbelievably comfy. Would recommend to anyone, especially couples! Heating was on for us when we arrived and the instructions on emails for the hot tub etc were really clear. Very impressed!

Beautiful location and well presented cottage. The hot tub was very relaxing and was positioned so you could watch the sun set over the hills. We also liked that the garden was secure so we didn't worry about the dog getting out.

The only thing that let it down was the WiFi in the living room was very spotty and we kept losing connection. I'd also recommend booking a table at the local pub before you arrive, we were hoping to have a meal there but it was fully booked all weekend.
