WHome Luxury Stay in Prime Location w/ AC, Lift & Private Patio

Il soggiorno si è concluso il 20 settembre ad oggi è trascorso quasi un mese e non abbiamo ricevuto la restituzione del deposito cauzionale di 500,00 euro. Credo che i tempi siano troppo lunghi.

Large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms plus an additional 3 piece. There was a large kitchen with modern appliances, a very large dining room and large living room.The apartment was in a very walkable location close to many amenities and restaurants.

One of the bedrooms had a bathroom with no way to fasten the shower head in place. The other bedroom had holes in the wall and moldy holes in the floor beneath the window. The bathroom had a horrible smell of sewer gas that was overwhelming. The patio was basically useless with no furniture and was very musty. The living room furniture was very soiled. The apartment was directly above a very noisy bar.

No WiFi for 3 days out of 4days stay

Location/accessability, spacious interior in old building, own character. 3 toillets.

WiFi malfunction, TV not working (no instruction), mosquitos (no protection in the windows), coffee machine damaged. Some fungus on the wall. Description of the apartment as luxury etc. private patio etc. is far to optimistic. Check-in procedure with personal data delivery to much complicated and unfriendly. Apartment is nice,clean and spacious, but has nothing to do with luxury.

Excellent location to sights, restaurants, nightlife. We found overnight parking nearby (<10 minute walk) as we had rented a car for the week. Beautiful, clean apartment with very comfortable beds.

WiFi password did not work despite contacting property manager.

Spacious, comfortable, great beds, although we didn’t use the kitchen, well appointed. Nice bathrooms and showers. The location was excellent for our 5 day visit.

Neither the internet nor the television worked. We were given a password and instructions for the internet but could not connect. Our client contact said a maintenance person would come to apartment to check but never appeared. No welcome pack. No instructions for the property, esp kitchen appliances.

Really nice big apartament with very good localization.

Weak interenet. TV needs additional setup. At weekend loud due to the restaurants located belove the apartament and parties till the midnight.

The apartment was spacious and mostly clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes and coffee pods. The location was close to several restaurants, stores and the waterfront. Instructions to get in were clear.

We had several issues: 1. The wifi didn't work with the information given by the property owner. We had to locate the router and try several troubleshooting steps. Finally connected using the QR code. Shouldn't have had to spend so much time on it. The connection was terrible! 2. We couldn't get the AC to work. Owner wanted us to send pictures of the thermostat but never did get it working. We had to have the doors open and listen to the construction across the street. 3. The information listed a private patio but it wasn't fit to use 4. Couldn't get the TV to connect to anything 5. The living room chairs and couch were stained. It would have been helpful to have instructions on how to use the AC and TV

Great location, lovely, clean and spacious apartment. 2 en suite shower/bathrooms and an extra toilet.

Unfortunately the wi-fi did't work during our stay. Despite contacting the host and her suggestion of various resolutions over a few hours, we had to manage without for 4 days. The patio area was not accessible, and looking through a window to it, it looked unsafe, there was no outside table and chairs as shown on the photograph. A manual/handbook of appliances would have been useful. there was only one wine glass in the property, we had to use tumblers, not a major issue but you would have thought a luxury apartment would have these.

The apartment is well-located and quite beautiful in both its decor and layout. That's where the positive points end.

The management is really bad. A few days before check-in, they asked us for a €500 deposit, which is very rare, but we can understand. But if they are going to demand such things from us, we‘d also like them to meet the standards of providing basic services. We didn’t receive instructions for entering the apartment until the very last minute. Check-in was at 4:00 PM, which is an hour later than 99% of other apartments. We arrived at 4:40 PM to find the cleaning lady still inside, and we had to see the apartment still dirty and full of trash left by previous guests. Now we understand why they delayed sending us the check-in details until the last moment. As stated, there was supposed to be a welcome bottle of wine, which is very common practice in Portugal, but it was nowhere to be found. The nightstands were covered in dust. The apartment was damp. The walls had large holes filled with mold, which is terrible for your health. The bedroom windows faced a courtyard full of mold, which let in a foul smell, and we couldn’t even air out the place. One of my companions works remotely, but we didn’t have internet as promised. When we asked about the internet, they told us to restart the router. It wasn’t easy to find, as it was hidden in one of the walls with the electrical box. We restarted it 10 times, but nothing. No solution. We wasted time and money to buy an internet card so we could work. I have to say the management is poor, and they don’t allow you to relax on your vacation.
