Stable Cottage - Sleeps 6, near Lulworth Cove

Was well equipped and away from the main tourist spots but close enough to revel to within twenty minuits

We liked the location of the property. The property had a lot of character and was very private and quiet with off road parking. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates and utensils.

There were two main issues for us. Firstly, the hot tub was not working and we were not informed until we arrived. The host did offer the use of his hot tub in his garden next door but we did not feel comfortable with this arrangement. Unfortunately this did have a negative impact on our stay as we particularly chose the property for its hot tub. The other issue was that the third bedroom is a separate annex to the main house which is across the garden and whilst we made this work, it did split us up as a family. We could not find any reference in the property details informing us of this.

Very handy for beautiful coastal walks and going to Lulworth Cove / Durdle Door

It was not apparent until after we had booked that the third bedroom was an annexe. It was extremely difficult to get out of the parking place for the cottage. I would suggest that visitors should be told to only park behind Well Cottage.

Great location for access to coastal walks. Idyllic retreat away from hustle and bustle. A beautiful old thatched cottage with a very helpful host.

Unfortunately the parking for the property is a nightmare. The space for the property is extremely difficult to access. However Philip does kindly provide parking on his driveway which is situated next door. Therefore this issue is overcome.

Beautifull house with a lot of charm. Close by for Hiking / Running to shore line.

Beautiful and steeped in history!

The bathroom and kitchen need an update. It was also disappointing to find the hot tub on the owners side of the fence. Despite the privacy screen, we didn’t feel comfortable enough to use it.

Beautifully decorated & comfortable. Beautiful location.

A bit difficult as no bathroom upstairs.
