Beautiful thatched cottage in a fantastic location. Lovely kitchen and fireplace, and a hot tub! Within walking distance of Durdle Door and Lulworth cove. Great pub within walking distance.. The owner was very helpful

I recently stayed at this charming cottage, and it was exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The location was ideal—close enough to explore the area but secluded enough to feel like a true retreat. The atmosphere was incredibly tranquil, making it easy to unwind and relax. The cottage itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Beds were comfortable. Linen clean. Comfortable sofa's. Warm. Wifi good. Local pub great.

Advertised as 'recently refurbished' this is not true. The pictures are old and not current. The property was not clean in areas. The bathroom was grim, we nearly decided to leave due to the condition of it. We had only booked for 3 nights so decided to just make the best of it. Shower pressure poor. Big mold problem in bathroom, even mold on window and mirror. Floor grout almost black in lots of areas - yuk. Kitchen lamps dirty. Sugar bowl grubby. No teaspoons. Washing machine did not work. (Found that out the night before we left). Being greeted with hanging fly traps with dead flies was not welcoming. No telephone signal, we had 2 different networks. Owner confirmed no signal unsure why this not mentioned on booking.com. Allocated parking only suitable if you have a SMALL car. Owner allowed us to park at his property. Not ideal but ok. Hot tub has been moved - not looking quite as pictures, was clean inside but smelt really strong chlorine so did not use. Could do with an outside light as access is via back side gate which was difficult to use. Was so disappointed that property wasn't as advertised. Could be so lovely. Windows dirty inside and out. I am totally confused at other reviews..... though some state same issues. After seeing response by the owner; I am sorry that my photographs show the real condition of your property. I posted my review so other travelers don't get fooled by your dishonesty. I booked your property based on the info/pics you provided and the reviews, in good faith. Unsure why the history of the property makes up for the condition. Washing machine didn't work. No sensor lights. Maybe you should read shower manual and use some of that chlorine to clean the mold in your house . Making personal reference to my car looks like plain jealousy, as for attitude to match is completely unjustified and dishonest. Trying to make me look the bad person is petty. Hence I have now changed you score.

Lovely home in a quiet location. Clean and well presented and great information from owner. Comfortable beds and wonderful welcome cake on arrival

Needed to drive to places as in a very small village with no facilities. Weather was not conducive to walking

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic location with beautiful walks nearby and great pubs within a short walk. Gorgeous front room with log burner and comfy sofas.

The house was beautiful but the bathroom was guise grubby with lots of insects (difficult I know with a period property). Shower not great.

WiFi in the annexe not great

Beautiful cottage, very cosy the only thing I would recommend to change would be the shower ( the power was very poor ) other than that we had a great stay.

Lovely cottage, cosy and clean. The host was very attentive and made sure he was available for any questions. Great location, close to the coast and to various attractions.
