Stable Cottage - Sleeps 6, near Lulworth Cove

We had the most wonderful stay at Stable Cottage. The cottage is absolutely delightful with everything we could want or need. The welcome Dorset apple cake was delicious and very much enjoyed by us all!

Nothing we didn’t like but worth being aware the stairs are wonderfully authentic for such a cottage and need a little concentration! The location is beautifully quaint but very rural and a car is advised.

Our party consisted of Three adults and two children of eight and ten. We had a great week in this thatched cottage. It had an abundance of character, and in a beautiful location. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property, and many thanks to Philip, our host, for letting us stay in his wonderful house.

Lovely period cottage in a picturesque village and in walking distance to a great pub. It is not boutique, but we liked that and found it stylish and comfortable. Great back garden that catches the sun.

There's nothing to dislike....it has low beams and doorways, but you just deal with them. The staircase is very steep, and the bathroom is downstairs, but the owner makes that clear when confirming the booking.

Very nice and well kept cottage. Despite its age it offers all the comforts you would need for a very comfortable stay, whether short or extended.

Energy consciousness; the thermostat was set to 21 upon arrival. Absolutely very comfortable, but in all honesty too hot. Satellite receiver in the annex wasn’t working. No big issue though.

The property is very well located, with a great pub a short walk away. Good comfortable accommodation, with the extra space in the annexe.

Kept banging my head on the low door frames….But it is a very old cottage.

Such a beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. Great walks and local pub near by. Beautifully furnished and decorated with such a cosy feel. Kitchen has everything you need to cook properly and sofas and beds were very comfy too. The garden has sunlight throughout the day so we were outside a lot too. We hope to be back!

My sister said it was chilly in the annexe compared to the main cottage but once in bed, it was fine
