Pine Tree House with Hot tub & Sauna

Amazing experience, if you're booked in for pine or chestnut be prepared for a tough slog up to the cabin, but breathtaking once your up, I would advise going in a car with a bit of power as the road leading to the site is very steep so not for the fainthearted .there isn't parking outside the pine or chestnut cabins so be prepared to carry your stuff up a steep hill, but cannot fault the amazingness of the cabin, hot tub , sauna and views!!! We went for a christmas break and loved every single second

Views are lovely, very quiet and peaceful. Info prior was really helpful. Road leading up to the site is hilly and small. Bed super comfy and warm. The hill up to the pod is very steep! Pod was nice, clearly older than the photos and different layout so photos may be the neighbouring pod. But had everything as described. Kitchen is just a camping hob but there was cutlery and pans etc to use. Wood starting to rot in bathroom. Bathroom clean (toilet, sink and shower) but needs a little love. Found mushrooms growing by the loo. Had a little slug in there and a few other bugs came out at night. Over all pod was clean, but little dusty in areas and mouldy/marked blinds with some cobwebs but you are glamping! Arrived and the pod fire was out but got it going again easily, needs a lot of attention as a small fire for the room. No lights outside so bring a torch as it’s very dark. Solar fairy lights stopped working not long after we arrived but this can’t be helped. There’s no electricity! Used hot water bottles for bed but the cabin wasn’t too cold or as cold as expected but in colder weather you would need multiple layers. The sauna heated up nice and quick, really nice time using that. The hot tub took a while, we were trying for 4 hours and still not hot enough to get in. However, didn’t dampen the mood. Would recommend getting it going in the morning to use in the afternoon/evening. Could have been user error on our behalf as it was a different fire to the one in the instructions. Seemed to run out of water, no instructions on that so had no water or hot water for a shower by our second night but we were heading home in the morning. Water came back in the morning but still no hot water. Overall happy with our stay. We had a lovely time, the free roaming sheep were lovely as well.

AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. do not stay at this property unless you want to freeze. we arrived at the tree house and spent over 2 hours trying to heat the tree house, sauna and hot tub. as when we arrived all fires were nearly out. the wood they supplied was definitely too wet & not fit for purpose. At this point we contacted the host to say we could not stay and were absolutely freezing. they offered us to move property, at this point it was pitch black & raining. when we arrived at the new property it was NOT a tree house, much smaller and not what we travelled over 2 hours for the whole evening was a disaster & we are really disappointed that our celebration has been ruined.

Stunning location and amazing sauna and hot tub. Bedroom very cosy and well designed. Directions and info all good and clear and easy to understand.

The log burner in the Pine Cottage is way too small to heat the room. Slightly long logs won't fit and even when it's going for hours the heat it emits is very minimal. Also very hard to operate without heatproof gloves NOT provided.

The videos explaining how to get to the properly were informative and welcome. Only a couple of minor improvements would be for the wood to be dry to get the fires going, maybe an info pack on the boiler for the shower etc could be needed as we couldn’t figure out how to get this working and to make it extra special offering breakfast hampers would be great.

The setting of the tree house is in a gorgeous secluded spot.

I didn’t like that the photos for pine tree house were actually of a different tree house. The fact that we asked for a pre heat service to the tub but it was still cold when we got there. Also the tub is literally a hot bathtub there’s no bubbles.
