Pine Tree House with Hot tub & Sauna

The cabin and sauna were wonderful, the views are spectacular! There were sheep just roaming around and trees and hills and beautiful forest. I really cannot fault the sauna it was perfectly functioning and the views are just *mwah chefs kiss* The bed area was comfy and loved that it was off the ground! We loved the duvet it was so snuggly and warm The log burner was perfect and we were kept so warm for the whole of our stay! The location was wonderful and the videos provided to find the cabin where super helpful and we appreciated having them We loved the pre warming service for the hot tub and sauna Check in and check out was super easy The stools and table where perfect for us to use inside the property Please don’t be put off by the walk up to the cabin, it is SO WORTH IT!

The cabin we had was not the one in the picture. The one in the picture is the chestnut treehouse and has a better lay out than the pine lodge. With the pine lodge the ‘fire pit’ area is small and round the corner from the hot tub. And it’s so small you burn your legs from the fire if you sit there too long. The hot tub was good and heated up quick however the ‘hose’ left to fill with cold water to stop it getting too hot was just a hose and there was no where to connect it to get cold water from and no instructions for it. So we ended up only using it for a short time as it was too hot. The lights around the cabin worked for one night but not the other 2 (although the host did provide a gesture to make up for it which was appreciated) The bathroom looked a little rushed and really didn’t fit the high quality finish of the rest of the property. You also can’t cook inside the property without the alarm going off (I also heard our neighbours going off a couple of times too) Also I think a foldable table for outside would be useful as we ended up cooking on the floor outside as we couldn’t cook inside due to the alarm. We genuinely preferred cooking outside as we are seasoned campers but would have been easier to have a table or something to use outside. So not a fault but a suggestion :)

Would recommend to anyone! Really enjoyed our stay, so relaxing. The staff provided you with all the information you needed before your stay, which was super helpful. Gorgeous location with a short trip to Barmouth beach. Would definitely go back.

Lack of information about the roads leading up to the cabin, it’s quite a difficult drive, however that can’t be helped. There is also a steep hill to walk up when you arrive at the cabin so it may be unsuitable for some people when they stay.

NO electricity! However, knew this before we booked & totally understand that it adds to the experience!

The hot rub and sauna were perfect. The bed was comfortable and the indoor shower was a lovely temperature. The host sent all information required prior to arriving so was easy to know what to take with you and how to set up the hot tub and sauna. They were also kind enough to set up the hot tub prior to arrival so that it was hot enough to use straight away. We were also sent videos of how to access the property so we found the accommodation quite easily. The property is quite central to all tourist attractions (Snowdonia, Barmouth town, Betwys y coed, caenarfon castle, Harlech castle) so we were able to visit quite a bit of north wales during our short stay. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Couldn't find any faults

We liked the peaceful atmosphere we stayed for a day and enjoyed. This is not everyone's cup of tea and the cabin we stayed in was a good climb with your bags. So if your not very able ask for a lower cabin. Plenty of firewood for sauna hot tub and indoor fire. We paid the extra £20 so it was all hot when we arrived well worth it.

You lose the sun fast at night due to position. Be careful topping up the hot tub as the water does get boiling.
