"Lovely venue in a lovely place."

Location was lovely with a view of the lake. The finish was really nice and all the facilities we needed were there. It was very clean, lots of supplies in the cupboards. It was a really great venue for our Great North Swim Weekend.

Shower screen trip fell off and part of the handle in the other shower came off. One of the TV remotes was nowhere to be found. These were the only small things.

The lodge is a 2 minute walk from the lake, beautiful location and super close to Windermere and Ambleside via car (10/15 mins max). The lodge was super clean and very comfortable. We really felt like we were home. I will definitely be back. There is a shop on site which is handy. I would recommend brining kitchen roll, milk and coffee.

The 3 seater sofa was very uncomfortable, after a while it started to hurt my back. The main toilets seat kept moving, needs tightened up.
