Liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartment, in dem das Meiste aus dem Nachlass der vorherigen Bewohnenden zu kommen scheint. Das tut der Qualität keinen Abbruch. Vielmehr erlaubt der Aufenthalt eine kleine Reise in die Vergangenheit, ohne den Komfort der heutigen Zeit missen zu lassen. Wir waren mit der Qualität der Ausstattung (sehr bequeme Matratzen, hier war nichts durchgelegen, gute Küchenausstattung). Das WLAN war in Ordnung. Unser Auto passte mit etwas Feingefühl auch in die Garage. Man kommt von dort auch zu Fuß mit Kombination Bus oder Fähre überall hin. Wir können das Appartment sehr empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in Como.

There are multiple awesome perks we found advantageous, so we're listing them in order of encountering them! First, the staff of the company managing Casa Panoramica are incredibly friendly and helpful, supporting us every step of our journey, even afterhours and on off days, and inquiring on our experience after our stay. We were not expecting this from a rental property managed by a private host, and were more than pleasantly surprised. Second, the apartment itself is located in an old district with nearby homes in which local families are obviously going about their daily lives. Moreover, the view is impressive, panoramic indeed! Third, the property has its own private parking that comes free with the rental. Neither a private parking nor the non-existent price tag are guarantees in Como (or Italy for that matter). Fourth, the city and the lake of Como are just b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! Located in the "foothills" of the Alps, they offer breathtaking views and routes, for those who are interested in this type of tourism.

It gets hard to find anything, as we would rate our stay a perfect 10! Our main stress was the car that we rented: in spite of the property offering free parking, the streets of Como and the surrounding villages are narrow and winding, so if you're nervous about driving, they can be hard for the nerves. Another issue is the limited, safe public parking offered in Como and the surrounding locales. Neither of these, however, are referring to the property itself, as they are issues to be met by the local administrations.

Despite the fact that someone broke into the apartment during our stay, it was good.
