When a person checks in at the west gate, all id’s, drivers licenses are acknowledged by the security.as too the reg. No. Of the vechile. Now this is where it gets interesting, I the person who booked the room was at a conference, with cellc, my wife, who the security at the west gate acknowledged her id too when arriving. Reminding you that I was in a conference , my wife decided to go into town, through the west gate , again she left through the west gate, decided to not let her back in, as she was not the person who reserved the room. As too, every time you leave through The west gate as a guest, every security detail will inform you differently to the previous security detail did. This is when I got angry as I was a guest of Cellc in the hotel. Once I showed my arm band, they become hesitant, only to be told the arm bands expire the next day, again been, informed completely different to what was informed by hotel reception, or by the security detail by the north gate…

Amazing attention to detail and wonderful hosting

There was no breakfast, we made our own food.

On the second day there was a lot of nice coming from the other properties, but we would still come back though as safety is our number 1 priority and we felt safe there.

Cleanliness, the place was so clean and very specious. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The place was exactly what we saw on the pictures.

The place is clean, modern and in a very good location. I love the fact that you get driven around to different locations for entertainment within the estate. Child friendly environment, you literally don't have to leave the estate to have fun or dine. Value for money indeed..

We experienced a bit of power outages. But that is South Africa for you.. Nothing new

Zimbali estate offers everything you could need. From pools to restaurants. It truly is a haven. The unit itself was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The Euphoric Leisure team were very responsive and always ready to assist.

The only downside was that there are no braai facilities, the balcony pictured in the listing had a gas braai in it which we assumed would be available for use but was not. There are also no communal braai areas, so unless there is a braai listed for the suite you using, be aware there will not be access to this.
