37a Stonegate Loft

This is a spacious property for a group of friends or family to base themselves in whilst visiting York. An excellent location. Communication with the host was also excellent, they were able to accommodate a change of dates due to rail disruption. We appreciated that greatly.

A couple of comments as feedback whilst we appreciated this is a listed building, there was there was a large area of damp in the kitchen on the wall which was off putting. Additionally, the main double room at the front of the property is prone to noise in the early hours of the morning, specifically refuge collection vehicles. Apart from that all was well. We would happily rebook and recommend this property.

Great location and facilities, nice people to deal with.

It needs some repair and a deep clean. There was muck and smears on the walls around the entrance to the bathroom and outside of a surface clean, it really wasn’t. Even stains that I dar not guess at on the long sofa.

Bathroom showers leaking and flooding the kitchen no hot water for the shower and not having access to apartment for a day.

bedrooms at the front was noisy from people walking past at all hours not the propertys fault but that's all we didn't like

The location was excellent very central with shops, bars and restaurants. It was great to hear the Minster bells.

The only fault was a lack of toilet roll at the property a roll in each bathroom didn't last long with 8 of us.

Location was spot on for all the attractions.

Keys you don't want to find a different street to pick up key from trailing your luggage along. Also a 4 bedroom flat with 7 occupants to be given only one set of keys was very inconvenient when going out separately. Overall a good clean in both the Entrance, Stairs and Flat would be appreciated. 3 Lights in Kitchen ceiling were not replaced after making a phone call to agency. Maintenance man did appear then left again after saying he didn't have the right bulbs never to be seen again. Noise from the street is to be expected but the windows are loose and rattle and we had to place paper napkins in the gaps. They need to be replaced. Hot water in showers were hit and miss.
