37a Stonegate Loft

Location was perfect, noise was expected as it’s such a central location didn’t stop us from sleeping.

The apartment could have been cleaner, items found left from previous party, bathroom and toilets not thoroughly done. Overall fine and would not stop me returning.

Its a lovely property at such a perfect location where everything is at 5/10 minutes walk.

We were there for one night and the heating was not working. I had to call the property service twice one in the evening to come and fix, which he thought is done but it did not and then at midnight as we were freezing. I never had to stay somewhere like this, we spent more time trying to fix the issue, ringing for help than to enjoy our trip. It was really disappointing as it’s something very basic to have. The property in its self is amazing but our trip was ruined as we could not even get comfortable there.

The location of the property was the best part of the stay. The kitchen was new and well equipped. The staff that we contacted to raise any issues were kind.

The property is old as stated so there were a lot of this which were inconvenient. The showers did not work well, that is temperature never stayed consistent and was not hot enough. It was winter so at least a work shower would have been good. There were small leaks from the sink in every bathroom. The coffee table in the living room was broken but we reported it. The entire property was not as clean. The entrance hallway and stairs were not clean and did not smell nice. Getting the key to the property is doable but tricky. I would not recommend this place if you have young children.

Excellent location

Heating did not work, phoned the number provided who also couldn’t get the boiler to work - very cold night sleep. I brought this up with tue owner who stated it had been fixed (it hadn’t). This is a real shame as everything else was great.

Excellent location, plenty of space, fantastic kitchen, well stocked with plenty of extra blankets, and towels.

There was water leaking from the pipes in one toilet room which led to an unpleasant odor in that room and the adjacent hallway. Also, the hand soap I that bathroom was very watered down and unusable. It would have been nice to have a dustpan handy to sweep up the floor. We found a hand broom but no way to sweep the crumbs.

Very clean with a beautifully appointed kitchen. Great location and reasonably priced.

One shower drain was so slow we had to periodically turn off the water to prevent the shower pan from overflowing. Also, the apartment was described as a loft on the top floor of a 2-story building. In reality it is a 2-story apartment, not loft, that begins on the 3rd story (up 2 flights of stairs) with 2 bedrooms up one more flight of stairs and a 3rd bedroom up a separate flight of stairs outside the main apartment. Also, only 1 of the 3 bathrooms had a working extraction fan.

Perfect location , rooms very nice and clean, perfect for a stay away with friends.

The key collection / drop off situation / arrangements is very inconvenient and spoilt the stay slightly having to leave the town centre to go and pick up and drop off the keys. Would put me off staying again to be honest
