Lovely homely apartment, very well supplied kitchen. The weather was bad during our stay so unfortunately we could not use the terrace. We had a great time, Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Apartment exceeded all expectations.

Andrea was so welcoming and made the check-in and check-out easy. It is a lovely apartment and awesome location, right in action. The kitchen was well-stocked and the roof was awesome. The apartment had everything you might need and Andrea was super helpful with recommendations and ready to assist. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Genova!

Andrea does an excellent job of making sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable. The rooftop terrace is awesome.

The alley that it’s in is smelly and under construction. There was always some kids hanging out at night drinking and making noise outside.

The apartment is lovely and Andrea's attention to detail is truly impressive. He's a great communicator with a wealth of knowledge of Genoa and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. We stayed when there was a storm and heavy rain. The apartment was warm and cosy. There was also plenty to do undercover (Maritime museum, Palace Real, Aquarium, old food market, historic lifts and funicular) and all within easy reach. It was easy to get anywhere really- and the old town is a bit of a labyrinth!

I'm not sure I'd have felt totally comfortable out late at night in the little street the apartment is on. The street is being renovated (scaffolding is up) as is the building currently so it should feel different when it's finished I imagine. Maybe it's a little like the entrance to Diagon Alley in Harry Potter and the flat is the magic at the top of the stairs!

Everything was just perfect: fully equipped apartment, perfectly clean. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was present in double quantity. The location is excellent, in the very center of the old town, next to a beautiful basilica, 200 meters from the marina. Just come here without any doubt. The worst thing was the lack of an elevator in the house. But this is even a plus - you need to burn calories after the abundance of Genoa.

Central location easily reachable from the central train station on foot, great balcony, well-equipped apartment, very friendly host. (Be aware that the neighborhood may appear grungy! This is however to be expected due to the medieval construction.)
