We liked that the property had a fully equipped kitchen and we could cook. Also, there was a washing machine and dryer which was terrific.

the only downside is the stairs but unless you’ve got mobility issues they aren’t a problem

Andrea is the best host we have ever encountered. He truly cares that you have a great visit. He iwas always ready with help and suggestions. The kitchen was so well stocked that we didn't even have go to the market. It felt like we were living in Genoa. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable. A great place to relax.

The entrance staircase is very rundown and steep. But Andrea carried our bags up and down so no problem. Once you get past the gritty entry you cannot believe how great your location is and how comfortable the apartment is. But understand that this is near the port so you will see urban grit and shady characters around.

Andrea's apartment is ideally located, in the historic center of Genoa, with many shops nearby. The apartment is located in a small quiet street, on the top floor of the building, we slept well. The roof terrace is very pleasant and offers a beautiful view over the rooftops of the city. The apartment is very well appointed, clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. Finally Andrea is very friendly, attentive and available. Thank you again for everything, we had a great stay and will come back to your place with pleasure :)

Andrea is a great host, he will tell you about the area, traditions, everything you might possibly want to know. He can recommend some places to eat but the kitchen is equipped with everything you need + you might find something left by previous guests in the fridge so worth taking a look before you go groceries shopping. We had pizza in the place just around the corner. We had that pizza on the private rooftop terrace with an entry from the kitchen! Overlooking the top of the church and the city going up to the mountain! Cleanliness is to the highest standard! The place is amazing!

The area might be a little rough but from another hand I took it as an opportunity to experience the culture of the historical location. There is no lift and so be prepared to walk all the way up but again, this is a historical building, part of the church nearby, so very expectedly and gives a chance to dive into the history and culture of the location. Check out time was on the earlier side but I believe you might negotiate with Andrea depending on whether there is any booking for the day.

Lovely apartment in a really good central location, very close to both the port area and historical centre. The host was very friendly and was easy to communicate with. Good check in and we were allowed to check in early which was very much appreciated. The fridge was fully stocked and a continental style breakfast included. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with lots of little extras, we particularly loved the little roof terrace. Can totally recommend and would stay again.

While the apartment was brilliant, the building was historical that can benefit from refreshing the stairs to the apartment.

The position - it's in the heart of old city, very near to most of the touristic sightseeing places, on a small street. Very close is a beautiful church The host - Andrea is wonderful as a person. Very nice, helpful, explaining everything you need to know about the apartment, city. Apartment is cozy, nice furniture and nice terrace ( needs renovation and some furniture, so you can enjoy it at full). Kitchen very well equiped with everything needed to cook, including the spices, olive, vinegar, and others. Also in the bathroom you find all the cosmetics needed for a short stay. Very attention to details to make your stay very homey, so you have also ingredients for breakfast - sweet and salty stuff, yogurts, milk, eggs etc Totally recommend!

The building - it's in old city center, and the buildings there aren't renovated, so can be a bit scary first time in the building. But nothing to do with the nice apartment Shower water pressure is a bit low, especially in the evening. room temperature a bit low, you can ask Andrea to higher it, but still colder than usual building or outside
