GBExcellent location,quiet despite how busy the seafront can be. Comfortable & nicely decorated throughout, great having a fridge in the room. Sunken terrace made for a nice change. Met by Tivo the receptionist on duty when arriving & booking in who couldn’t have been more helpful & pleasant.
My only gripe is the cost of parking on site (both nights I was lucky enough to get parking directly outside)& the £50 deposit for the key/damages you have to leave also taking a copy of a photo ID, just feel it’s a bit much as it’s booked through here & all my details & booking history are recorded,I’m staying working away from home & partying etc aren’t on the cards! I returned to collect my deposit after work in the evening but understand it’s available after 10 on the day of check out.
EGGBRoom was a good size, bed small but comfy. Hot drink making facility in room. Close proximity to pier and seafront so could get breakfast next morning.
The A4 sheet of paper containing T's and C's! The cash deposit, the lack of toiletries, the electronic pass system, lack of reception. The demanded "quiet time", only ignored by owners children in top flat. Paid the same price for 4* hotel in Bristol
