Hill Garth Cottage - 2 Bed with Wood Burning Hot Tub

Loved the location, cottage was immaculate, hot tub was a lovely touch.

Lots of rules, the breakfast bar wasn’t suitable for eating as the bench didn’t come out far enough and the stools were too high. the rug was a trip hazard.

Accommodation was nice, property clean and modern.. Great central location... nice and warm.

Hot tub, the location of the hot tub, very dark due to solar powered lighting...decking very slippery and one of the steps bigger than others, which was dangerous in the dark... could not use hot tub while there, spent £17 on logs, which burned for 3 hours, and still the hot tub was cold..if we could have used hot tub, the neighbour would have full view..imposed to many rules, especially the email day before we left to remind us to strip the beds...when we stripped beds noticed there were no pillow protectors underneath pillows.

We had a lovely 3 night break as a family. The cottage was immaculate and so nicely decorated. We loved the hot tub(yes it took a few hours but it was so nice to use at night) We would definitely book to stay again.

Great location for going into Wooler and exploring Northumberland, cottage was very cosy, clean and modern. Very comfy bed and the kitchen had everything we needed and more! Wooler had everything we needed and the pub’s are very reasonable priced-we recommend the anchor if you’re looking for somewhere to go for a drink and Milano for food!

The shower was small but we managed, the hot tub was more like a hot bath in the garden. The keylock didn’t work for us on the first day but after speaking to the host’s this was resolved very quickly!

The location was great. The cottage was done to a high spec.

Didn't like that there was no heating on when we arrived it was freezing. Took ages to sort the heating out. The hot tub took us over 4 hours and only lukewarm, so we never used it. The breakfast bar in the kitchen couldn't be used as a cupboard in front, so hit ya head. Only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel in main bedroom had to use out of spare room. The shower is very small and could barely move in it okus was dirty un the bottom still had soap residue in it. Tea towels were all stained, and the towels for the shower had bleach stains on them.Just didn't feel at home. the were uncomfortable the whole trip.

The location is fantastic for exploring Northumberland and Wooler is a lovely little village with good pubs and amenities. The cottage was a good size, beautifully decorated, comfy bed and warm with everything you could need for a week away. I liked the fact that the owners had listened to previous reviews and made small improvements based on the feedback. Dog friendly, dog not allowed to use the outside space to go to the toilet but there is a park and the common just up the road so not a huge issue.

The key app was a bit of an issue on arrival but the owners resolved this quickly. There was not always space in the carpark opposite, but we never had an issue finding parking nearby. The shower unit was indeed very small, but not much the owners could do with the space allowed, we managed!!

Cute cottage that was decorated lovely. It was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location.
