"Great stay ."

8.0

Location was good near all amenities. House was clean and beds very comfortable.

Hot tub took forever to heat could do with a lid to keep it hot .could also do with some bath sheets ,and a mat at the back door for wet feet .

•The cottage is beautifully decorated • Comfortable bed, slept incredibly well • The kitchen was well equipped. • The location is ideal • I loved the information booklet, it had everything and more • Alot of thought had gone into staying with them. I.e games, handwash/shampoo/hand lotion. A Jar with dog treats in, plus plenty of dog bowls. • coffee machine (however, we dont drink coffee )

•The "hot tub"- i wouldn't class it as a hot tub. We were highly disappointed, we had ordered a pack for £20 before staying. Watched the videos we had been sent and were well prepared. Unfortunately, the owners had provided us with soft wood in this starter pack.. This meant the wood burns more quickly hence we had used all the wood before the water had got warm to get in. (It was cold still) So felt like we had wasted our time and money. We own a log fire ourselves and know the difference between soft and hard work (which the demonstration video stated it needed to be hard wood) It was late so we decided not contact the owners and our last night to get a refund or more hard wood. I wouldn't recommend even entertaining the outside bath thats freezing. I The shower was slight issue, its a small fitting shower. My partner has a physique of a muscular type. He found it difficult to get out the shower. I also had a problem washing my hair as there was no room to put the shampoo/reach my arms up to wash it. Blinds need a good cleaning too.

"A beautiful relaxing short stay in a lovely property."

8.0

It is a well decorated property with lovely features. The beds are extremely comfortable- prior to arriving good clear communication. Great location for walking or travelling to places. The hot tub (when we finally sorted it) lol - I used it as a cold tub as well as can’t light before 4pm.

We would still come back but a few things The fact it takes so long after arrival to sort the hot tub- bring extra towels and a robe is useful for getting out of tub. Bedrooms are beautiful but very bright in a morning ( sorry I like blackouts)

"Great property in an ideal location"

8.0

The property itself was extremely well presented and well appointed. We were very impressed

The internet connection was slow at times and the hot tub, although we did fill it and successfully managed to get the logs burning (took an hour to fill and an hour to get the fire going), the water was barely warm. We gave up after a total of 4 hours.

"Relaxing Easter Bank holiday"

8.0

Good location for exploring Northumberland, we enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were really comfy and house had a nice cosy feel.

Breakfast bar wasn’t practical. It would have been so much better with a small table and chairs at the front window.

"Good value base for visiting local area"

8.0

Great location, well equipped with basics, pet friendly and great hot tub. Communication and instructions were good as well. Within walking distance of Ad Gefrin which was fantastic.

Not as clean as you would hope. Some functional issues, eg seats in kitchen too high for bench meaning difficulty eating especially for children. Oven needs checking as not sure this was coming to temperature. Limitations on when hot tub can be used (only after 4pm) due to smoke,

Very clean, convenient for town centre and amenities

Not luxury as described. Hot tub took too long to get going, gave up in the end. Bedding and towels disappointing for it to be classed as luxury. Tv not easy to work.
