We honestly cannot say enough superlatives about this property. From the time I booked it to the time we were waved off by all of the staff at the door Waka Villas utterly deserves 5 * in every aspect. We completed a 16 day adventure in Vietnam and Cambodia with our last 2 nights being spent at Waka. We did 5* the whole trip as we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we really did save the best for last. Every tiny detail has been so beautifully thought out. The layout of our stunning villa, the completely secluded and private pool and garden area, complimentary drinks, amazing breakfast, reasonable room service prices with gorgeous food- the list is too long to name about all of the great things at Waka. The icing on the cake has to be the service. It is impeccable. Every single member of staff are just lovely. Special shout out to Phalla and Rathana who helped me every step of the way with questions and organisation. We will never forget our stay at WAKA. Thank you all. You’d be mad not to book it.

The entire complex is a destination - an experience and to fully appreciate the site we recommend no less than three nights stay. Every day we stumbled across something remarkable on site. The staff are excellent, so helpful and friendly. The on site manager, personally greeted us, is so humbly, works on the first floor which allows him to interact with those that stay on site.

The level of service the Waka resort provided, was just exceptional: They were always pro-active, lovely, and really eased our stay in Siem Reap by inspiring with restaurant recommendations & reservations. They constantly took the extra mile! The leadership in this place is driven by hospitality, openness & employee (as well as consumer) satisfaction. The villas are very intimate and at the same time you do not feel trapped as there is a lot of glass & plants. The pool has the perfect size for taking a dip. We felt very comfortable & it was as clean as in your own house.

We personally prefer breakfast that is very clean (=few natural ingredients). First off all: In Waka resort, the breakfast is 100% fresh & for sure in a way prepared that would most of guests love (e.g. waffles decorated with fruit sauce, mixed bread basket incl croissants & rolls). For us, we would be more happy if we could customise the breakfast to a higher extend: e.g. what kind of rolls we would like, which kind of spread, etc Besides, we would love if you could extend the range of spreads. There was orange jam but you could add easily other (like raspberry) as well as honey. And also oat porridge (not salty) would be wonderful. For lunch, we would have also preferred more natural choices, e.g. fresh tomato sauce instead of cream sauce.

Waka villas made our stay in Siam Reap very special. The villas with the private pool are beautifully designed and spacious. The pool is good for two to swim and we used it a lot. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and it was really sad to say good-bye to them in the end. We also had the best massages ever and recommend very much the khmer massage. The food was delicious, the special feature that you can have breakfast until 5 pm, in the restaurant or in your villa, is super. In case you do the sunrise trip to the temple, you can have it when you come back. If you ask for spicy, it is really spicy (mango salad), otherwise, not. We did several trips to Angkor Wat and further away temple to the lake tonle sap. The staff organised that very well, thank you. We also recommend the acrobats circus, the traditional dance theater, and especially visiting the retired temple elefants in "Kulen Elephant Forest" which need the visitors fee for continuing being a safe haven for retired Touristelephants. We would love to come back to Waka villas one day and send our greeting to the staff with a big THANK YOU 🙏!

Very spacious layout of the Villa, perfect design. High quality furniture all made locally in Cambodia. Wonderful energy in the property and the silence allover (even the aircon was perfect and no noise). Phalla and her team take care of all one needs with so much heartfelt dedication and lovely smile, nothing is too much. Excellent massage. Great food served in the Villa. Free laundry. Japanese owner with Cambodia Management - you can feel the attention to every detail. Plan for 3 to 4 days, as one day you just want to stay… Seeing a few boutique 4 and 5 star hotels in Sieam Reap, Waka is the choice. To city only 10 minutes drive.

The price is high, but you get the best.

We loved the staff and our room! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left my husband and I were in heaven.

I would have liked it if the pool chairs had been wiped down. There was quite a bit of debris just from being outside. Maybe something to note for the future :)

What I liked most was the hotel team, well managed by Seam, which measured no efforts to ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction. The facilities were quite new, beautifully decorated and modern features. The room´s individual large pool and the lavish breakfast were two additional highlights. Would like to leave a special acknowledgement to Seam and his team due to great stay experience !

Best of the best

Everything was detailed and well thought, bathroom, air conditioning and the bed linens etc....we slept so well at this property. Having a water server was a plus as well, the staff made the stay even more special and we are glad to select this property for our last days of stay in Siam Reap.
