"Lovely house, lovely host"

Lovely house within 5mins walk of the city centre. The parking permit was a big plus, also the kindness of the host allowing us to use it when we arrived at 11am even though we couldn't check in til 3pm. Had a great night's sleep.

Slightly squeaky bed, but nothing an Allan key won't fix :-)

Good location, close to the centre of York. The house was clean, homely and inviting. Very good host, very welcoming and allowed us to check in earlier which was great for the children.

"We would definitely have stayed longer if we could have. We LOVED it."

The house was extraordinary. Everything was beautiful and so well taken care of. We were warm and cosy whenever we were home, no matter the temperature and weather outside. Anything we may have needed, facilities wise, was there for us. It was like a home away from home and we loved it. The welcome book and pamphlets made finding our way around the house and York so stress free.

Location was excellent

Not enough cutlery for four people. No plug in sink to wash up. Dining chair very unstable No parking permit
