Comfy Home within City Wall, 10 mins Walk to Centre, Attractions & Railway Station

Very clean and welcoming. It's a really easy walk into the centre of York. The road is quiet and there are no noises outside. Parking outside the house is almost impossible but there's a 10 minute to unload. The nearest carpark (Nunnery) is a 2 minute walk away. We'd certainly return.

Great location, walking distance from York City Centre. Cosy and warm house, with two sizeable bedrooms and a lounge.

Lovely warm home with bags of charm and comfy beds. Nice little touches, like a mini prosecco and chocs on arrival. Host Jelle is fantastic, great communication and very quick to respond.

Stairs were steep and my aunty in her 80s struggled a bit. Not a big deal for most, but be aware if you have mobility challenges. Could be improved handrails with all the way to the top.

Cosy and the location was great

It’s was tired which is to be understood. Unfortunately it’s wasn’t clean, we had to wash most of the kitchen dishes, pans and utensils prior to use. The kitchen has had an unpleasant smell of cat food.
