Comfy Home within City Wall, 10 mins Walk to Centre, Attractions & Railway Station

Host let us have early check in Stay one night, out in city all day and night as had tickets for venue at barbican . Overall happy with location,fair price and good nights sleep. Car parked in train station carpark, short walk away , £12 for 28hours

We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer another time. The property was delightful. Very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well supplied. Not only was it truly walking distance to York city, but walking in the other direction we found several artisan shops and cafes.

No toilet upstairs my 74 year old cousin had to sleep on settee as stairs too steep for her to keep going up and down to toilet

Great location, an easy walk to attractions in the centre plus excellent cafes and bakeries on Bishy rd. Eco friendly toiletries and cleaning products. Tea bags and cafetiere/coffee. Little bottle of procesco plus chocolates. Everything you need for a few days away.

Downstairs would benefit from a refresh and deep clean. The outside space hadnt been swept and we were greeted by a used ashtray and cigarette butts on the ground. Curtains in the back bed room are thin and don't block the light from the buildings behind.

Loved the house, so homely and cosy, exactly what we needed. In a lovely quiet road. Very clean and tidy, lovely court yard if the weather is nice. Gave us a bottle of prosecco and chocolates on arrival, lovely touch.Nunnery Lane Car Park around the corner. All round great stay, would highly recommend.
