Minh Trang Villa Hoi An -BBQ Garden

I liked everything about this place! It was clean, quiet, friendly staff, free bikes to use and a small fridge in the room to keep cold water and fruits. The location was perfect for me away from the bustle and hustle in the city center. And with the bikes you can get to the center or to the beach very easily.

The villa is in a pretty lantern lined street and the neighborhood is generally very quiet (just the odd enthusiastic karaoke session from neighbours). The couple who run the villa are very lovely people and happy to help you with anything. The only only negative is that our bathroom didn't have a working extractor fan or window that opened so it was a little moldy up high. Overall we loved our stay here, especially the refreshing pool and bike into the town.

The couple running the homestay couldn't help enough. I wanted to hire a one way bike from hoi an to hue and they sorted it for me. Amazing My room, on the top floor had a lovely balcony which caught the evening sun and sunset. I was very chilled here, so much so I extended my stay by 2 days staying a total of 5. The free use of the bicycles makes it easy to explore at your leisure which was an added bonus I even managed a dip in the pool!

Was all good, just a little barrier with the language and in the morning we didn’t have hot water for shower (or we didn’t know how to turn on the hot water).

Good location, convenient with free bike, Luke and Trang very helpful and accommodating.

What an amazing homestay/hotel. It says it's a 1-star Hotel (on Google) but don't let that fool you, it's nicer than a lot of 3 star hotels or homestays. Here a list of just a few things that you can expect if you stay at this place: - The homestay/hotel: a beautiful colonial style building well maintained with so much to offer, from some amazing home cooked food to cooking classes. Or just enjoy a relaxing day at the pool and do some BBQ. Everything super clean, and well maintained. They have a great variety of services that they offer, some good home-cooked food, laundry, or private taxi to airport or other attraction. And you will have access to a free bicycle on your stay here. You can even rent a motorbike from them for a good price. There's no elevator but the stairs are really wide and easy to go up, not as narrow/small like in other Vietnamese homes. The room I stated had a ton of natural light, but also with thick curtains if you want it to be dark. And there's a power outlet just by the bed. My room came with a mini fridge, big plus, AC and fan and a desk to do some work. And a really nice big balcony overlooking the quiet street and the pool. And omg, the bed is so comfortable. The water pressure is really good and amazing WiFi / Internet (over 300 Mbps) all around the property. And It has video surveillance just to be on the safe side. Though it's not really needed because you're in a really safe area with a lot of friendly local people. - The hosts/owners: Super friendly couple who will do everything in that power to make your stay amazing. From recommendation what to see or where and what to eat. Easy to communicate with them via booking chat or Whatsapp. In person it's a bit more complicated, but with translation apps it's always fun to have a chat with them. - Amazing location, in a quiet area but close to a lot of amenities. Great cafes, bars and restaurant just around the corner.

If I needed to write something negative about this place is that there was no Outlet close to the desk, but that was a quick solution from the hosts, they gave me an extension cord. And you only have the main lights in the room, no bedside lamp but but that doesn't really bother me. Just keep that in mind if you're a couple and one wants to sleep and the other one still wants to read. But I'm pretty sure if you asked for a bedside lamp they will give you one.

It was fantastic. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early, did our laundry and always had a smile on their faces. Highly recommend!

The loveliest hosts who did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Great location for Hoi An - a short bike/taxi ride or about a 15 min walk into old town. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Lovely pool although didn't get to use it personally due to the weather.
