AHG Dream's Bay Beach Hotel - Adults Only

Great location on the beach and very nice swimming pool with loungers. All the staff are very friendly. 10/10 for the food

Location was ok.

The General Manager seemed to be a bit rude and pushy. Food choice was very limited and that was supposed to be all inclusive. There are cats all over the place and you can't eat in peace. I regret going there and we slept for one night and went to Paradise Beach Resort which we should have gone there in the first place!!! Wasted my money on that accommodation I fully regret and didn’t get refunded for the one night we lost.

I stayed at this hotel in Zanzibar and everything was simply perfect. Breathtaking beachfront location, clean and well-kept rooms, incredibly kind and always smiling staff. Good breakfast and absolute peace. I will definitely be back!❤️

The people were incredibly friendly and helpful, great access to the beach and the entertainment especially the Masai and dancers/acrobats were incredible. Loved that the hotel had access to a tour company on site and the tours were private and the tour guides were informative, friendly and funny. Highly recommend Makhuti tours. Lunch and dinner was really good and I liked that it was al a carte.

I wish the lights outside the ground rooms were turned off at night as the windows in the door didn’t block the light so made it rather tricky to get to sleep. AC was rather temperamental but they did try to fix it for us. I would have liked a different variety for breakfast as the buffet was the same every day.

Loved the theme of the rooms gave me a real Zanzibar experience was a great sized room only downside no wardrobes but hey I managed with that! The restaurant was lovely and the staff were good. The hotel was generally kept clean regularly and the pool was lovely. The kappa club team were good - I did feel at times there was a lot more focus on the French speaking (especially towards the end of my trip) I did hear the manager telling some French guests that they had to accommodate all nationalities but at times I felt that this had been ignored. Having spent some time travelling I had hoped to be more involved with the animation team I know it’s difficult when you have to factor in all nations so although I feel (as mentioned) there was a lot of focus on the French speaking than others I didn’t let it ruin my time in Zanzibar. The food was amazing - I often had local food and due to only being able to consume small portion sizes I found that the staff accommodated my medical situation amazingly. I found the a la carte was amazing especially having stayed at many luxury all inclusive before it was nice to be in a paradise island and have a personal one to one approach. The pool was lovely and to be fair people complained about the beach boys but I never had an issue.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like anything as generally I liked the property only real thing for me was just that focus on the French speakers

A Truly Wonderful Stay The property was absolutely beautiful and right on the beach, offering the most stunning views. The staff were amazing—so warm and attentive—and the meals were truly delicious. I had the most wonderful stay and hope to return again soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway.

Kitchen is #1, room was really great, staff & manager very kind. I can just recommend it. To swim read low and high tide -as everywhere- sea was also great.
