The staff is very friendly and kind, ready to assist and help the customer if needed. The beach in front of the hotel is very nice. The hotel organizes different activities (eg. visit prison island, swimmin with dolphins, Stone Town tours) at an affordable price

The Manager Lori's nade our stay exceptional. He was at rhe hotel from morning till night to make sure all was well. He changed my room to accommodate my mobility needs. Staff were amazing. Thank you so much

We had a very nice room with balcony looking over the ocean. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Perfect breakfast.

The accommodation was much better than we expected. Musical programs organized by the hotel every night. The manager of the hotel (Lucia) went to the guests every evening at dinner and greeted them. That was very positive. All employees are respectful and helpful, they always looked at what they could do to make our vacation perfect. The food was very tasty, the view was beautiful, the service was perfect. The rooms were cleaned every morning and every night before going to bed the room was prepared for the evening sleep. Mosquito repellent was sprayed (although there were no mosquitoes). They decorated our room with flower petals every day, it was a great experience for us. The whole service was perfect. The hotel was protected by members of the local Maasai tribe. We were also very satisfied with them, their work was essential for perfect relaxation. Internet speed is tolerable, but don't forget that we are in Africa. Summary: we liked the hotel so much that we definitely want to go back for another vacation next year.

Fortunately, that was not the case.

Food should be more varied with more options for clients

This is a cosy small hotel on the beach with beautiful exotic view on a little golf near Matemwe. The staff is nice and helpfull with the guests, tough they don't seem very well prepared and they always had to receive approvals/advise from manager for anything. We liked the pool, and the fact that they were cleaning the beach in front of the hotel every day. This beach was nicer and cleaner than the next one from Matemwe. We liked the exotic fruits at breakfast. We appreciated the daily cleaning and the fact that the room was prepared for night (cosy lighting and the mosquito net was released) The fruity smoothies were very tasty.

The breakfast was pretty good but repetitive. The dinner had small portions, and it would be nice to have more options to choose from, especially local dishes. In the breakfast/dinning area is very hot sometimes, some fans would be very helpful. The coffee and wine quality could be improved. Also food quality overall should be improved The ground floor rooms have high humidity, mold and the smell is accordingly. For someone who has mold allergy is not good at all. The water from shower is salty. The towels are not really absorbing humidity from the skin, to much laundry conditioner. The AC is kind of noisy, it's making some strange sounds after some time.
