Oceanfront 3BR/2BA, Ocean Reef, Waterpark

Very convenient

We made breakfast in.

We don't particularly like being on the 14th floor, but we can deal with it for 4 days.

Our stay was very enjoyable. we love the lazy river and splash pad and pool. the easy on and off beach access was good. the only issue we experienced was the fact that the renovation on the room above and below us was alittle annoying with 2 small children who need naps and the noise was like it was in our room. but we made do

The beds were a little uncomfortable

The place was nice overall. Perfect on the beach location, pools were nice. Towel service and food/drinks available for purchase in the pool area. There are patio/decks off each room with chairs. The water pressure in the bathroom was great for showers and beds were comfortable. The front desk person we spoke with was nice. There is parking across the street, but I have handicap parking which there were not enough spaces, so the desk clerk let us park in a loading space.

The condo unit 1417 is in need of a total upgrade. No towel hanger in the hall bathroom, dresser furniture was old and dirty, there was mold on the ceilings, walls and especially around the vents, wallpaper in both bathrooms peeling off and moldy, the drip coffee pot was not clean in the kitchen. We turned on the heat to try and dry out the condo it was so damp your clothes were damp and the dryer was rusty inside. And there was hair on the hairdryer handle. No batteries in the remote for the main TV and no channel guide. There was a tropical storm moving into the area and I couldn't find the weather channel or a local one. I was expecting a bit better in upkeep for the price charged.

Loved the location. Very good breakfast and great food at the bar also. Staff was friendly. The grounds are very well kept.

Our condo was private owned, not through the resort and I also rented another just single bedroom apartment for my brother and his room was much cleaner and had better toiletries than ours did. Not to mention our condo had carpet which I think is just crazy to have in a rental property period, it's disgusting considering ours smelled like musty/mildew and my brothers room smelled amazing! I contacted the owner of the unit and let them know, they had glade spray and pine sol cleaner delivered right as we were checking out. Lastly the A/C unit next to washer and dryer was leaking where the drip pan was overflowing and it's was running out into the hallway. Other than that we had a great stay.
