Great property and location, nicely remodeled, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom with large soaking tub and an amazing and friendly host!

I loved our stay here with my teenage daughter. Rie made us feel so welcome and her homemade granola is delicious! It really felt like a home from home and I would definitely stay here again is we visit Glastonbury in the future. I’ll recommend Rie’s retreat to everyone I know!

Honestly I would find it hard to think of anything. The drawer in my bedside table was broken, but it didn’t matter in the slightest!

Homely feeling as soon as we arrived. Gold room was gorgeous and just what we needed. The garden was a tranquil space to relax. Location was perfect

Location. Backyard gardens nice, nice tub and shower

Bathroom sink dirty, 2 drinking glasses in bathroom dirty, hair on floors and in sink, fake flowers covered in black dust, toilet paper roll falling out of wall. Kitchen- tap lever broken, sink filthy, counters not clean, eating utensils container in dish rack the bottom was covered in mould, I had to put in dish washer to clean. No pot holders or oven mitts. Asked for paper towel because it was all used up and it was never replaced. Chalice Well water is brought into B&B in non food grade plastic jugs that had brown mould in them, dirty and the other one with water in was turning green. Water dispenser of supposedly well water had all sediment at the bottom and was finally washed when I was there. I put aside 3 coffee cups that had large chips on them and the day I left they were put back in the kitchen. Yogurt in the fridge was an opened container that god knows how many people had used before I came . They should be single serve yogurt, jam, peanut butter, etc not shared jars. On the write up of the facilities it lists washer. I was monitored by the house keeper who then send an email to the owner saying I spent 3 hours washing and drying clothes and I had to pay 5 pounds for each load. I only spent maybe half an hour. I explained I got my clothes soiled from having to clean up hair in bathroom and clean kitchen. Owner sent me an email saying I was not to use washer. She also asked me not to put on my review of the property that there was hairs in the bathroom because that would affect her business.
