Rie's Retreat - The Emerald room

We had the property to ourselves.we appreciated the spacious bathroom. Good breakfast offerings. Well equipped kitchen. Space for parking

Rie was such a welcoming and kind person! We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Especially the two extra living rooms and the big common kitchen are a big plus.

Clean accommodation

No en suite. But it was advertised as such so we knew about it

Rie’s Retreat is a stunning property, lots of beautiful facilities, and Rie goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Fabulous breakfast and only a 5 minute walk to town. I’ve stayed many times now - and keep returning.

I love everything about the property.

The room was perfect! Comfy and warm. Very comfortable for two people!

I did not how to turn on the heater, just one day of rain and cold

This place didn't disappoint at all. It was a very homely feeling being there, Rie is a very sweet person and her house makes you feel really like being at home. All is spotless, one of the few places where I had a bath(in a huge bath) because of how clean it was. My cat and myself had a lovely stay, peaceful and relaxing, great distance (only 10 Min walk) from the centre. And if you drive you can park your car at the house, which makes everything easier. Beautiful and welcoming. Hope I'll be able to come back one day

Not really a priority but WiFi signal is not great in the bedrooms. Also it would be nice to have a little bit more choice for breakfast. Or maybe the chance to pay for a hot one. But it was nice as well to be independent and do as you like in the morning as if you were in your house

Clean, bright, comfortable

I didn't eat breakfast, but it was all set up for ' help yourself' The eating area looked out on a lovely garden. Bed was comfy , i had the run of the place . Very peaceful. A short walk into the centre of Glastonbury. I would recommend.

Very clean and spacious. Rie is a lovely person! Home made granola was so tasty and home grown apple was so nice!
